He and Santo clearly know each other in some way. He's a top of the rotation guy that isn't commanding some outrageous money as the others out there. After seeing what Benson and Wilson got getting Jaret for 5 or even 6 a year would be a steal imo for what the market is at for starting pitching. If we can sign him for 5 or 6 per year, we should still be able to go out and fill other holes.Interesting how seattle's deal gets reported and the sox deal doesn't. I think this might be one of the ways for kenny to fly under the radar so some other team doesn't jump in there with a deal to top ours but as always I could be wrong.
