Well, whoever these "Whtie Sox" are, I hope they don't get anyone we are going for...:)

I say Wright.

No more cheesier than Sun-times printing "HURT SO GOOD" on the back cover following a productive game from Frank Thomas.

I swear, I've seen that atleast 5 times over the last several years. Every game he does well I expect to see it on the following morning's edition.

THis may have been posted elsewhere, but Rosenthal had an article up today saying Ortiz wants Bartolo money (4/51). That's terrible. Furthermore, the leading candidates to get him are the D-Backs and the Nationals who don't have that kind of money to spend. I hope KW has let the Russ Ortiz train sail.

What about PRIOR ENGAGEMENT every time Prior pitches?

Any chance Jaret Wright can bring Leo Mazzone with him? ;) :nono

I'd rather sign Mazzone to a long term deal that Wright.

LMAO.. I had to leave for bowling.

Anyhooo.. I've said previously that from what I have heard (as reciently as last Wednesday) that the Sox are looking hard at Pedro. I know the Mets offer was sweet.. but who knows. I think Pedro is sick of sharing the spotlight on the East Coast. That might work in our favor.

Wow, I would have guessed this rumor would be dead after the Mets insane offer. Very interesting to say the least.

Anyone know who is Pedro's agent? Anyone the Sox have worked with before? And how well do Ozzie and Pedro know each other, if at all?

Is this the old rope a dope thing? Make everyone think they are pushing for RJ and really go for Pedro? Talk about "under the radar". I would think Pedro would be great for this team. Leadership, been a winner and is a damn tough competitor. Is there a real chance the Sox may sign him though? Will they outbid the Mets? I'm not overly sure he is worth that but would be nice to have a pitcher like him.

Regarding Pedro, I have two words. Prima Donna.

Setting up the excuses for not signing more free agents.
