  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 08:26 PM) No matter what happens, the dunk contests for the next couple years should be sick. Assuming Wiggins, Gordon and Lavine participate. Welcome back, sir.
  2. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 08:27 PM) You dont know why I would want a PG when Rose is coming off back to back season ending knee injuries? I hope Rose is fine and there are no issues, but you gotta prepare for the worst, cause the Bulls cant have Hinrich starting all year if they want to be anything. If Rose is broken they're not going to do anything anyways. They've proven 800 times that they can find decent back up pgs, they don't need to draft one.
  3. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 08:19 PM) Yeah but you could have had napier/ennis and a SG who can shoot. It would have given the Bulls a great mix and insurance against Rose. Instead you got a guy with no real position. Seriously its bad. Not sure why you like Ennis so much. He would have made 0 sense for the Bulls imo.
  4. Hopefully it's to clear cap space cause meh not a fan of trading up for him.
  5. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 07:36 PM) lol, chad ford and woj with a big WHIFF on that pick. At least Woj didn't declare it done. Everyone laugh at Chad Ford!
  6. Stauskas is a baller, don't care where he is, he's going to be good.
  7. We're through 8 picks on Twitter...we're flying!
  8. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 07:08 PM) You should no better than to go on Twitter during a draft if you don't want spoilers. I'm still suffering at work so I'm hanging around twitter but those 4 and 5 picks came up real quick on there.
  9. Um twitter just spoiled the 4th pick for me and wow.
  10. Sixers going for it with Embiid. I like it.
  11. Well number 2 is obvious, 3 is probably Exum but it could get fun after that.
  12. Gene Honda should just announce all draft picks in every sport.
  13. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 06:30 PM) Temple hired Rick Brunson as an asst coach. Wha? Ha very interesting.
  14. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 05:19 PM) Its officially Belgium on Tuesday, right? Yes sir.
  15. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 04:08 PM) But much more versatile on offense. I think he'd be a tough match up. Can post up smaller guys. Absolutely. As I've said before I still don't really no where I stand on McDermott as an NBA player. I think he's going to have a hard time getting jump shots off but he also can post people up and he's just one of the smarter scorers I've ever seen. I just don't think he's going to be the Dunleavy or Korver type of player that some people are pigeonholing him to be.
  16. I guess I don't have too many out there predictions but: Wiggins is by far and away the best player in this draft. Stauskas becomes Klay Thompson 2.0 Aaron Gordon is a bust. James Young and Rodney Hood are two of the better players in this draft outside the top 7 or so.
  17. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 04:06 PM) Hilarious that people lump together white players like that. I wanted McDermott because I think he could very much be Kyle Korver. Though Korver's shot block levels are better than anything McDermott could hope for. McDermott can't get a shot off like Korver, slower and lower release.

    Haha f*** off Un.
  19. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 02:51 PM) So how stupid would Morey be to trade Harden for Melo straight up? Ya that wouldn't make any sense.
  20. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 01:08 PM) A lot of people that were homers. You have to look at the international view point, imo, or the betting view points, which tend to be much better indicators. My comment was actually directly based on the betting pov. I think Portugal was maybe a few percentage points more likely to get out of the group but it really wasn't that much.
  21. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 12:56 PM) I think it's like a 8 or a 9. We had maybe a 35% chance of getting out of the group at the start. Meh, I'd say like a 4 or 5. Us and Portugal were very close for most likely to grab that 2nd spot out of this group.
  22. Bring it on Waffles
  23. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 09:05 AM) Then why do some drafts even have him in the high 20s? Cause everyone has their own opinion. This happens to be mine and I feel pretty strongly about this one. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 09:08 AM) Mock drafts, made by individuals, just like his opinion. Thank you Rock.
  24. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 08:59 AM) Meh, it wouldn't be the worst pick at 19. Looking at a few different drafts if they go SG with the 2nd pick it probably comes down to Adams, Hairston, and Young. Adams was the most efficient of those scorers, and he's got great length (6'5" w/ 6'10 reach, Oladipo had a 6'9" reach).....I'm not sure how much stock to put into college PER, but his 28.7 ranks 5th in the draft class. It'd be an awful pick. He won't be able to score in the NBA.
