QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 10:06 AM) I think a good alternative and one you have better control of would be adding Love and Afflalo. Is that really an alternative? That sounds like dream world to me. I'd absolutely love for that to happen.

QUOTE (TRU @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 09:45 AM) Its not realistic for every team to do that, Houston however could shed Lin/Asik and be able to work in LeBron and immediately be the best team in the NBA I know, it just goes with out saying that you should throw everything at LeBron if you can.

QUOTE (TRU @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 09:28 AM) Oh man, If I was every team in the NBA I would throw everything I possibly could at LeBron.

Who do you most want to keep after the Core 4?

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 07:42 AM) Anyone else not super excited about Eaton? I'd say he is a MLB starter and he does have time to improve, but I just don't see much to get too excited about. You do need players lilke that to fill out your roster, but meh. I'm still a big fan. He struggled a lot after he came back from his injury but he's been really solid before and after that. To me the biggest thing with him is remaining healthy, if he can do that(admitedly a big if) then I think he's an above average starter in the majors. -
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 01:21 AM) Going to Nashville for the first time July 9-12. Any suggestions? No need for any to be honest. Just walk around and you'll find s*** to do. I don't remember the name of any place I went to there but it's one of my favorite city's I've ever been to.

I hate to say it but Cena winning MITB makes the most sense to me. WWE gets their big money match with Cena-Lesnar 2 at SS, have Brock take the strap there and have him be built up as completely unstoppable until mania then you can have Bryan or Reigns go over him there.

Steph has been absolutely terrific since the authority angle started.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 08:34 PM) I'm assuming Seth vs Dean at SummerSlam. I like the build to it. Not rushing. Reigns-H, Rollins-Ambrose at SS I'd assume.

QUOTE (ptatc @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 06:06 PM) It is. However, you will see it used outside the US because ice is not as readily available. They don't use ice for much of anything. Ahh ok, that makes sense. Thanks.

QUOTE (ptatc @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 02:50 PM) Because they found out that it was just a topical effect and the effect of the cold did not reach down to where the injury was. The effects of cold that really help the injury are to slow down the inflammatory process. The topical modalities numbed the pain a little but didn't do much else. Plus it's cheaper to just have the ice or cold packs handy. Obviously not baseball related but is that the same spray they use at the World Cup? Pretty useless there too I take it?

Had the day off on Friday so decided to go to a movie solo for the first time and ended up being the only person in the theatre, so that was cool. Saw X Men and loved it.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 10:00 AM) If they would write proper stories for him, that is. I think that was the final straw for him - he was getting burnt out anyway, and the stuff they were having him do was just bland. The surprise for me was how bad his feud with Paul Heyman was. That, in theory, should have been a classic feud on the mic, but it fell so flat. I don't know if their hearts weren't in it, or what, but the whole thing felt forced and weak. I'm not sure if Punk will ever go back to WWE, unless he got a Brock-like contract. With a kid on the way, and reportedly being very good with his money, I wouldn't think he will want to commit to a full WWE schedule again. I thought that feud started out pretty awesome when Brock was the guy he was fighting. But after Summerslam when they tried to keep it going with Ryback and Axel...blah. But ya, I don't think we're going to see Punk for a long time.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 22, 2014 -> 01:29 PM) The interview with him on ESPN this morning was so sad. Haven't seen it yet but I heard about it. Awful.

QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 22, 2014 -> 01:13 PM) What's your number? ...I mean Boozer was a 2x All star before they signed him, so technically I'd say they already did 4 years ago....But ya I'm done with all the Debbie Downers. Why does this bother you so much? The Bulls the last 10 years have been linked to every star player there is and have acquired none of them. Until it actually happens of course we're all going to be skeptical.

Isaiah Austin is done with basketball because of some genetic disorder. That kid has been through a ton, I feel real bad for him.

QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jun 22, 2014 -> 11:48 AM) I am going off the 80 grade. And I just think that he may have terrific raw speed, it simply is not manifesting itself on the baseball field yet. He is only 14 for 23 in SBs. Meh, sb's are far from the only thing elite speed does for a player.

QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 02:38 PM) Meh, I guess there's no swaying people so I'm just gonna let it ride. Looking more into Afflalo more, he seems to really make since for this team. If all goes wrong and 1. LBJ stays in Miami and Melo stays in NY (Nothing we can do about that), and 2. we don't wanna trade Noah+ for Love (which most here don't wanna do) then I'd have no problem with Afflalo being the major piece brought in......He was a borderline All Star last year and the Bulls would be able to build a really strong bench with the extra money they save. Again not my first choice, but not a bad choice. Acquiring just Afflalo does nothing for us.
