  1. Just like last year, Sale's awesome, everyone else sucks. Time to look to 2015.
  2. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 05:28 PM) CPS says Curie has to forfeit all their wins and city title. 7 players ineligible since the start of the season. Cliff had to be one. Wonder if it effect scholarship. But all these players can play in the state tourney? Interesting.
  3. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 11:47 AM) I just finished pilates and wow, thats a different type of core workout. The thing I like about X3 so far is the focus on muscle groups that I didnt usually hit before. Lots of hip flexibility and joint strengthening. Something I believe I need for injury prevention. I would recommend some of those for the muscle groups you may be ignoring. For me, back weakness at times could be general core and ab weakness being compensated by the back. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 01:28 PM) Thanks. I will definitely have to give that a look. And I think that's exactly it regarding core/ab weakness. That's what it was attributed to when I first had my back issues. Ya Pilates is something else, I really enjoy/hate it. At the ripe old age of 21 when I was in Carbondale and basically drinking and doing nothing else I threw out my back pretty bad. My body was just a wreck back than and my core was insanely weak. One of the many reasons I started getting my s*** together once I got out of Cdale.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 09:45 AM) Congrats! Still in Milwaukee? Nah, the job has been fine but everything else was kind of a mess. I was waiting for my Rogers Park roommates to find a sub letter before I moved there and that never happened. Because I was still paying rent in RP, I never moved to Milwaukee while working there. The travel was just too much so that's why I started looking for other things and wallah. New job is in Wheeling and my lease in RP ends at the end of April so I'll see where I move from there. EDIT: and thanks, I'm really excited about this one.

So got that job I've been interviewing for. The pay isn't that much better but I got much better benefits, better hours, more vacation time, much more room for growth and it's just a very good company to be with. I start March 11th assuming I come back from St. Louis alive.
  6. The top 3 matches delivered. I've never seen that submission before that Paige used to win.
  7. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 08:23 PM) Now I'm getting error on the live channel. Wtf. And we're back. Haven't seen a whole Neville match but I've seen some of his spots, this should be a fun main event.
  8. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 07:37 PM) Their 2 out of 3 match was better but that was a good opener. Are they going live every Thursday? Agreed. Yup.
  9. Ya those 2 are just amazing together.
  10. Ordered the network today just in time for the NXT show which should be awesome tonight.
  11. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 10:46 AM) After years of neglecting my core, I'm getting back to it. I noticed a slight twinge in my lower back playing football 2 weeks ago, and it worried me that it could be the beginning of worse lower back pain. In high school, I developed a stress fracture in my lower vertabrae that kept me out of lacrosse for 6 weeks (I literally couldn't run) so I'm not trying to go through that again. I have a flag football league that starts in 2 weeks and I need to be in tip-top shape. So far, so good. I'm doing planks, side-planks, leg lifts, superman, various other stuff. Does anyone have anything in particular that they really love for core work (besides what I mentioned)? Squats and deadlifts.
  12. If I recall correctly, the idea was to ship Jose and I assume something else to Seattle for Sweaty Freddy.
  13. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 25, 2014 -> 01:38 PM) In addition to being on my fav show of all time, Aaron Paul seems to be the most down to earth and likable celebs. If I was going, I'd slap anyone who boos him. Basically what I said on a different board. Anywho, Jericho and HBK are in Chicago this weekend, wouldn't be surprised if either or both show up on Monday.
  14. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 24, 2014 -> 09:57 PM) Worst Raw crowd in awhile. Aaron Paul on Raw in Chicago next week?? F Punk! We can't dare boo Jesse Pinkman, can we? I'll be cheering for the guy but I'm worried for him.
  15. QUOTE (Charlie Haeger's Knuckles @ Feb 24, 2014 -> 11:03 PM) In all honesty, Chris Sale makes life without Mark Buehrle a lot easier to endure. Imagine if the Sox had a legit lefthanded hitting catcher that finished in the top-5 in MVP voting... AJ who? I don't want Buehrle back on the team but doesn't mean I can't love the guy.
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 24, 2014 -> 09:47 PM) There's no way your face does it. I shall get you back for that one. Green Bay sucks btw.
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 24, 2014 -> 09:15 PM) We have 6 weeks. Gotta play out. I saw start Mania with DB vs hhh with stip that if DB wins, it's triple threat. There's just no way HHH does that.
  18. Welp, I guess we're officially stuck with Orton-Batista.
  19. I think Cena legit got hurt there.
  20. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Feb 24, 2014 -> 07:15 PM) Wow they are booing Batista hard. He's acknowledging if Announcers acknowledging it too. We'll see what happens with Bryan tonight but next week could be real bad for him if he's getting this kind of reaction from Minnesota and Green Bay.
  21. The network as good as we thought? Can't wait to get done with this move so I can get this bad boy ordered up.
  22. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 24, 2014 -> 11:53 AM) Hey if thats what you think proves he will be a success, thats you. To me, I'd rather have a JJ Watt type player who has a motor and skills at the same time. He was double teamed his entire last season at Wisconsin, and even with a double team he produced more solo tackles and TFL not to mention sacks. I believe in those players more than non-effort guys, even if he was packing it in for an NFL contract (which is also a red flag to me). Well you can make an argument that JJ is one of the top 3 or 4 players in football, so ya.
  23. People basically predicted before this season that Clowney was going to take some plays off to make sure he wasn't going to get hurt. I wouldn't be happy if I were a South Carolina fan but I'm not passing up his insane talent if I'm a NFL gm.
  24. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 24, 2014 -> 10:53 AM) His speed was never the question. The guy has no motor. The official 40 time probably wont be a 4.4 since he ran a 4.47 and 4.48. Official times have been slower. No but this just shows how much of a freak he is. I'm really not worried about his motor at all, the guy is going to be a monster in the NFL.
