QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Jan 17, 2008 -> 12:09 PM) http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?S=78&F=14...1&t=1867592 There's the video. Watch the end of it and find a punch thrown. He stops before he even gets to Paulus, Paulus gets bumped in the nose by another FSU player before Reid even gets there, this is all after Paulus punches at the ball in the FSU players hand and then proceeds to try and kick anyone in the balls. God I hope his brother isn't as big of a b**** as he is. Paulus didn't punch anyone there, he stripped the ball and then proceeded to kick like a baby but he definitely didn't try to punch anyone. Looks to me like Reid hit Paulus a bit but nothing too major, he still threw a punch at him though.

SLU scored 20 points last night. We lost to SLU last month. That makes me feel good.

Tigers not a lock for AL Central title
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 10, 2008 -> 05:22 PM) Quentin should be also, if healthy. He's been a 900 OPS guy his whole way through the minors. You have some big time expectations for Quentin there. I like him as well but not expecting a .900 ops season out of him this year.

Konerko to the Angels?
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 10, 2008 -> 05:08 PM) Depending on the package we get in return though it can create a lot of excitement. Among people here, yes. Most of the casuals wouldn't be that thrilled with trading Konerko, no matter what.

Konerko to the Angels?
QUOTE(ptatc @ Jan 10, 2008 -> 04:40 PM) Or right before. He has been known to do deals at that time. I remember the Kenny Lofton deal and others I can't place names on right now. But he likes to introduce deals right around that time. Ya but trading Konerko isn't exactly the soxfest type of move.

Tigers not a lock for AL Central title
QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Jan 10, 2008 -> 04:49 PM) The bullpen was slightly improved but other than Jenks we are basing the '08 seasons on "HOPE" that Macdougal and Thorton can rebound strong. Most bullpens are all about "hope," you just never know year to year with relievers.

2007-08 NBA Thread
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 10, 2008 -> 04:20 PM) The game was a blowout though. Speaking of which, how good are Portland going to be with Greg Oden back next season. The 1 thing they really need is a dominant big, and Oden could be that guy. And getting Aldridge amd Brandon Roy at #4 and #6, while the Bulls took Tyrus Thomas at #2, ugh, that can't be a good stat for Bulls fans. They've really wasted a lot of top 5 picks over the past 6-8 years (the Bulls that is). Curry, Chandler, Williams and now Thomas it looks like. The sad thing is that we had Chandler and Aldridge. Obviously Aldridge was picked to be traded but yeesh, it'd sure be nice to have Tyson and/or LaMarcus.

Tigers not a lock for AL Central title
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 10, 2008 -> 03:28 PM) Our lineup and defense could actually be pretty damn good if healthy, but our pitching is just awful and with our horrible farm system, NOBODY can get hurt. And in this division, bad pitching=long nights, however I now have faith we can and will finish in a distant 3rd place behind the two headed monster. I like our overall lineup and bullpen. I just have 0 faith in the rotation(I'm starting to sound like a broken record here), I just can't see a contender having JC, Danks and Floyd at the back of the rotation.

Cleveland is still the favorite in the division imo.

QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 8, 2008 -> 07:27 PM) We are playing Bradley. Yup, that's probably the biggest reason. Still, it amazes me at how inconsistent this team can be.

Fay starting to play really well as of late. At least it gives me something to look forward to the rest of the season, hopefully he continues to progress. And we have 45 points at the half after scoring 47 and 51 in full games the last two. This team is so freakin inconsistent.
