Why in the hell would you do that? Have we lost all rational thinking here?

Malone's last rehab start
Last I heard he was throwing 85-88.
-
Sportscenter
It is a highlight show with only so much time. So yes, they will give marquee games and marquee teams more face time because that is what their audience wants. Couple that with the lateness of the game and it makes sense. Sox fans tend to take the media way too personally. No need to get riled over nothing in this case.
-
Trade Completed With Rangers
No problem, I am with you on the Everett trade. I didn't like it either.
-
Malone's last rehab start
That was his 4th rehab start, i believe.

A Rumor that is
Pardon my pickiness but perhaps the proper spelling of the player's name is Dan Haren, not Harron. Weak attempt at alliteration, but it is before noon....
-
Sportscenter
The graphic on ESPN originally said that Toronto won 4-3 even thought the sportscaster said it correctly. Not sure if that got changed for later versions or not.
-
Sportscenter
First of all, the Yankees are a bigger draw nationally, so they will always get more coverage, like it or not. Secondly, they don't wait until midnight to put together all of the highlight reels, so the lateness of the game probably had an effect as well.
-
Trade Completed With Rangers
Jim I'm not quite sure where you stand on the Everett trade. Would you mind clarifying for us please?
-
Trade Completed With Rangers
How many times combined have you seen Webster, Rupe and Francisco play in person?? Just curious..
-
I just heard on the Score
my understanding is that Texas really wanted Malone. So much so that the deal was structured that if they took Malone and either Webster or Yan, that is all they could take. I also think the deal was set that they didn't have the option of taking three pitchers.
-
I just heard on the Score
There were lots of scenarios rumored but none were ever confirmed. The only one I did get confirmed is that if they took Malone along with Webster or Yan, then they could not take a 3rd player. None of the other scenarios were ever more than rumors.
-
I just heard on the Score
Too much, unless Everett is the savior that leads this team to the promised land. And i don't think that will be the case.
-
I just heard on the Score
I had heard the same names.. Webster, Francisco and Rupe.
-
5th starter........
Did i miss something? Have Porzio's starts been that bad? Has he not kept the Sox in the games he has started?
-
A Rumor that is
Kendall - 5.5 mill a season over the next 4 years (22 mill; Pirates pay like 47% of his salary) Jason what makes you think the Pirates would be willing to pay any of Kendall's salary? I thought that was the point of them including Giles in the deal and only asking for mid-level prospects?
-
A Rumor that is
Geez, I just hope the Giants GM isn't reading this thinking hmmm Kenny fell for the Barry/Berry thing... Again!
-
A Rumor that is
I didn't catch every post on this topic, so I may have missed it, but what is the source of this rumor? I don't see ANY way in hell that the Giants would give up Foppert, Ainsworth and Williams for Colon, unless we are talking about Jimmy Foppert, Kirk Ainsworth and George Williams.
