  1. QUOTE(Hermanson32 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 08:50 PM) It's dusgusting if El Duque is making his next start. Brandon has done more than enough at this point to be our fifth starter. By the way, I love this site so far. Way better than White Sox Interactive which I was kicked off of for the same comment I just made. Welcome to Soxtalk!
  2. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 08:32 PM) - Benson had 3 carries and picked up 10 yards. Hard to say he impressed. Ultra small sample size. - Gage did nothing to impress me and I've been the biggest Gage apologist since we drafted him. Orton looked very good and he and Moose seemed to have some nice chemistry working. Honestly the D dissapointed me a little, the early 3rd downs they gave up pissed me off as well as how easily they were run on by Portis and Betts in the 2nd half, they may have been tire but they're going to have to get used to it with this defense. Well they were dissapointing with what you've mentioned, but they only gave up 9 points. I would call that a pretty solid day.
  3. QUOTE(Funkman7 @ Sep 9, 2005 -> 12:54 AM) sorry guys only four people total signed up so I deleted the league. If more people show interest, up to 8, I'll remake the league as it was. I will join if a league gets going again
  4. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 07:22 PM) So who does Buehrle choke against next week then? Kansas City
  5. QUOTE(qwerty @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 03:37 PM) Yes, we are cutting marte and not putting him on the playoff roster. :rolly Possibly a spot for BMac?
  6. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 01:24 PM) Perhaps this will be a blessing in disguise. This performance might hasten the permanent arrival of McCarthy. That would be nice.
  7. QUOTE(Dam8610 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 12:30 AM) No wonder we've lost the last 3 games. How was this thread allowed to get buried? Oh well, Vive le thread de Septembre! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^what he said.
  8. QUOTE(Colorado Sox Fan @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 02:45 PM) Hey, but Ross Gload got a hit! Yea!!! Too bad he lost the game for us last night. JoBo got two hits too, from each side of the plate.
  9. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 08:19 AM) http://whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/ar...t=.jsp&c_id=cws Hopefully Frank is back with the Sox next year.
  10. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Sep 9, 2005 -> 09:33 PM) I dunno, 1 out, Cora's probably gonna get 2nd guessed for that. If joey holds ARow instead of sending him, he would have scored on the fly ball by blum. I guess i'll do the second guessing.
  11. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Sep 9, 2005 -> 08:35 PM) Alright, so we have Paul for O.... and who else..... Juan as of late, or we could always put in Joe Borchard for a home run.
  12. QUOTE(greg775 @ Sep 9, 2005 -> 08:35 PM) We ain't winnin tonight. This sucks We got an inning left, possibly more.
  13. QUOTE(greg775 @ Sep 9, 2005 -> 08:27 PM) Oz is on fire tonight; they lefty comes in to retire the righty. Paulie needs to HR again somehow to save our ass tonight. Or Juan, they seem to be the only offense there is lately.

  16. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Sep 9, 2005 -> 08:02 PM) Yeah, or Dr. Ruthe. I think Dr. Ruthe could have jacked a couple off MB tonight.
  17. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Sep 9, 2005 -> 07:53 PM) Tying run to the plate for the Twins. 1 out. 9th inning. Now there is 2 outs with a guy on second.
  18. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Sep 9, 2005 -> 07:50 PM) Esteban Yan can cure an offense's ills. He's shutting us down so far.
  19. Does anyone know if there is somebody up in the pen yet?
  20. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Sep 9, 2005 -> 07:47 PM) Yeah, maybe he can put Cotts in for a third of an inning. Then put Marte in to finish up the inning.
