  1. QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 23, 2008 -> 12:32 PM) I admit that I was an Orton doubter and I apologize to KO for thinking that he'd fail. That being said... I still believe that the Bears need to draft a QB within their first 3 picks next year. I agree. Though, I would not be surprised if Orton turns out to be the guy we were looking for.
  2. a case of mountain dew should do the trick
  3. QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Nov 21, 2008 -> 10:08 PM) I know this sounds cruel on my part, but in the end it was just dogs. Idonno how I feel about people doing serious jail time because of animals, which if he wasnt a superstar probably would be in jail for a much longer time. I agree with you in a sense.Though, I am against torturing as a whole , I believe we in America put dogs at such a high pedestal that sometimes dogs have more rights than human beings, which is ridiculous. They are animals and should not have more rights than a human being. If someone with a sick taste of food killed a dog for food, I would not have a problem with it. However, most Americans would. To me, a dog should have no more rights than a cow or a pig.
  4. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Nov 21, 2008 -> 07:18 PM) I really need him to start producing. I picked him on my fantasy team only because he was involved in my team name, "ChrisKaman His Pants". Dude why do you have to jack my team name?
  5. Davis Kaman Randolph Thornton Camby Looks good. But, somehow I suspect they will manage to win only 30 games. They are still the Clippers.
  6. QUOTE (That funky motion @ Nov 21, 2008 -> 02:29 PM) I heard that on the score also about 30 min ago. The also said Javy and Jenks to the Mets for Heilman and someone else is heating up wait. Why would we do this?
  7. One thing I worry about obtaining any Dray pitcher is they all might be a tad overrated. I mean, the range that defense possesses, has to suck up a lot of hits. Where our pitchers might all be a tad underrated in that regard. Just thinking out loud here.
  8. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 21, 2008 -> 11:05 AM) The key is "for the right price", because some might argue that price is about 7-8 mill per, not the 11-12 per he's going to want. If he were 6-6, I'd give him a max deal. However, a 6-2 guard who gives no effort on the defensive end and can lose you as many games as he wins you... I can't give him the money he thinks he deserves. well, yeah. I'm pointing out anyone wanting him gone with no good reason has no clue about the state of basketball. Losing Gordon for nothing in return is not a step in the right direction.
  9. QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 21, 2008 -> 06:31 AM) Yep. That's me. Mr. Censor. I'd complain, but you have a smiley armed with a weapon. :hides:
  10. WOW. Changed the title of the thread? Soxtalk censorship at it's finest.
  11. Future Looks Bright! Danks Floyd Poreda Q Lexi Beckham Viciedo
  12. QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 21, 2008 -> 05:07 AM) I unpinned it since it's been a week. no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  13. anyone who does not want Gordon back for the right price, does not know basketball.
  14. Seriously, how could anyone hate Tony Romo? http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3714369
  15. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 05:38 PM) Are you trying to get under my skin again ranger? Actually since you called Orlando average, I think we've won about 6 out of 7 (albeit we've had a pretty soft schedule thus far). Actually, no. This is about a guy in our league who drafted Howard 20 spots to high. Obviously, in reality Howard is a top 10 player. But in fantasy he is somewhere between 20-30.
  16. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 05:00 PM) Stuckey?? I dropped his queer ass, what are you talking about! I see a spade as a spade... and Morrow is not long for fantasy relevance, and even as he is, he only helps 2 or 3 cats at the most. Like Dwight Howard I kid , I kid. I'll give Howard 4 cats. edit: BTW, Morrow is helpful in 5 cats at the moment.
  17. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 04:25 PM) Lord do you fall in love quickly. Like you didn't fall in love with Stuckey overnight
  18. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 03:43 PM) Would the Bulls do Brandon Wright and say Harrington for Noah and Hinrich? Don't know if that would work cap wise however. Paxson won't because he is a coward when it comes to deals. I like that deal a lot though.
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 03:42 PM) Unfortunately, you have that whole contract mess thing getting in the way...so you wind up needing someone like Harrington in there to match Hinrich's contract, then the Warriors want more, and on and on. Noah/Hinrich for Morrow/Harrington Would be nice if Paxson had a series of moves in him. Which he has shown otherwise.
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 03:39 PM) Hinrich would be a reasonably good fit/upgrade for them. Hinrich for Morrow in a perfect world. Then Gordon would be expendable.
  21. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 03:32 PM) Funny how Harrington's in the doghouse and they're already looking to move Maggette. All that team needs is a decent enough PG, and they could actually do something considering the glut of talented swingmen they have and Biedrins dominating in the post. I think they're going to try Ellis at PG first though. If only they had a PG like Baron Davis
  22. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 03:17 PM) Yeah, it's been 2 games. Nellie will have him playing 4 minutes in no time. Jealousy
  23. QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 02:53 PM) Anthony Morrow Warrior fans are calling him Stephan Jackson with Brains
  24. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 03:39 PM) Personally, I'm dreaming of the day you contribute anything to a baseball discussion aside from this same tired stance that you rarely, if ever backup. There's at least 10 solid points on the subject, you could choose to counter any of them but no we get the same ambiguous response apparently aimed at no one in particular. Debate a point, it could be fun. I'll start. I have good reason to believe that this particular "treasure" that participates in 4% of the team's overall innings will more than likely turn to "crap" within the next few years. There's also reason to believe that another team, desperate for a closer could be willing to trade us some of their "treasure" for our "treasure" that may soon turn to expensive, overweight "crap". Ok, your turn.
