  1. QUOTE (bmags @ May 27, 2014 -> 09:17 AM) I think the most discouraging thing to me from last night was before the game I felt so confident after seeing the lineups. These were our getmeover playoff lines. With the Red Wings series last year, I still felt like we were playing well despite being down 0-3. Blues we weren't but also gave away 2 late late leads. This series Hawks have run into a buzzsaw. I have to hope it just comes around on them just as quick. They look completely worn out, I wonder if playing our own division first just killed these guys.
  2. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 26, 2014 -> 09:07 PM) All on the defense Crawford not to blame some are telling me. 13 goals is a lot to me to be only the defenses fault, Crawford hardly blameless. Show me where someone said he was blameless for the last 13 goals.
  3. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 26, 2014 -> 08:46 PM) Guess we will blame the defense again on goal 3. Seabrook on the last two. Smh.
  4. Love Anna Kendrick and Drinking Buddies. Happy Christmas looks awesome to me.
  5. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 22, 2014 -> 10:58 PM) That's called "sniping" "Puck Luck"
  6. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 22, 2014 -> 10:00 PM) LOL 'his' teams. Well teams he's on, somehow.
  7. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 22, 2014 -> 09:28 PM) The Hawks don't ha...oh. Carcillo is a dick, but his teams succeed in the playoffs somehow.
  8. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 22, 2014 -> 07:26 PM) Rangers - Habs just flipped the switch on nastiness thanks to Brandon Prust. And of course our old friend Carcillo got a game misconduct He hit the ref, multiple times.
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 22, 2014 -> 12:17 PM) You saw Frozen 34 times. Hey there, Frozen is awesome.
  10. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 22, 2014 -> 09:26 AM) Movie selection f***ing sucks these days. My wife and I are taking the day off work tomorrow and the kiddo gets to go to day care. Free parent day. Everyone rejoice. How to spend our free time? Let's go see a movie in the theaters for the first time since last fall. My choices are s*** (all comic book movies), s*** (Million Dollar Arm, the movie with the three chicks and Jamie Lannister, Rio 2) and a movie I do want to see (The Neighbors) but refuse to pay 20-25 bucks to see when I can watch it for a $1.50 in 6 months. So our choice is Godzilla, which I'm mildly excited to see. But it's going to cost us $40 bucks to see a movie that comes with a 50% chance of being awful if what i'm reading is true. Can hollywood please just come up with some original ideas for the summer? I saw a lot of the Oscar nominated movies last year and they were mostly good. But summer blockbusters are always f'n terrible. Just make some good, non-comic book, non-reboot action movies. Is that really too much to ask for? Why is a matinee so expensive?
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 22, 2014 -> 09:06 AM) In a game like that, when you get the air let out of your sails, focus gets lost, and things look a whole lot worse than they actually are. You could see the team let down when that second goal was scored. We are used to seeing the Hawks do this to other teams. But they will forget about it, and be ready to go for game 3. We had the puck for almost the entire first half of the game and then stuff just turned. I am hoping Shaw's energy brings them back in this series. Need to take one in LA.
  12. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 21, 2014 -> 09:40 PM) Fluke goals or not, that's a really good hockey team out there earning their chances. This series won't be easy. Despite their two game 7s, the Kings seem much healthier and ready than last year. Well duh, it's the conference finals, teams are good. But it was a really strange 5 min.
  13. Hammer terrible. The two bad calls certainly changed the game but they could have stepped up and came back. Bad effort
  14. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 21, 2014 -> 09:34 PM) Hossa off the post not the Hawks night. Even the two goals weren't very good as they should have had more. Not a great night
  15. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 20, 2014 -> 04:08 PM) Fixed ceiling. A retractable roof was going to cost too much and Minnesota required that it be enclosed so they could host things like the Superbowl. Yup and Minneapolis is a great city to travel to.
  16. I feel like drafting Parker is like taking Carmelo. It's a good bet.
  17. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 20, 2014 -> 08:11 PM) People loved the "motor" argument with Drummond. And Ya, I'm just talking about where Waiters was taken, Beal was my guy, I never understood why anyone had MKG ranked ahead of him. Agreed.
  18. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 20, 2014 -> 07:55 PM) Give me both Kansas guys over Parker. You like "potential". Parker is probably the best freshman player Duke has ever seen. He's a very safe pick.
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 20, 2014 -> 07:47 PM) I don't think there is any doubt in my mind that out of the top picks Embiid has the highest bust potential. They are taking Craft Seriously the no brainer is Parker with 1b being Wiggins. They'll take neither.
