QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 30, 2014 -> 11:34 PM) What the f***. You did laundry during this game? Thread banned. I'm a jinx dude. No other way to put it. My sister kept me updated. Ever since I stopped and even changed my flag they've come back. I watch 5 min total tonight and LA scored 3.

Oh and it looks like I'm already being pushed into the technology board due to my background and the fact I described how they should deploy wireless. How can I turn that down nicely?

QUOTE (iamshack @ May 30, 2014 -> 02:34 PM) Congrats Rock! Which Pings did you go with? I25s. Right now I have old G10s from when I was a 20 handicap and now I'm down to a 12 and really I need to lower my flight angle and decrease offset. Also yesterday my driver shaft went out on my R7 that I love and they gave me a titleist 913 to play with while they reshafted my driver and wow it's much more tuned to my draw swing than my R7. I used to have to force a fade on it and this new one uses my regular swing. Good chance I pick that up as well At my orientation I played the worst I've played in a long time. Went out with one of the same guys today and shot an 82. He accused me of sandbagging. I wish I was. It was one of those days when you push everything. Today I got my nice draw back. The best part about joining was my wife and son went to the pool and met me for dinner.

Just watched the last two min. Wow.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 30, 2014 -> 11:06 PM) I called it last year against the Redwings. #iamtheblackhawks f***ing hope so. I'll be doing laundry. That seemed to work.

Btw. I saw 3 LA goals and no hawks goals. Such a jinx.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 30, 2014 -> 10:32 PM) The blood has rushed to my penis. So just a semi, old man?

Trade Kane. He's an immature liability.

QUOTE (greg775 @ May 29, 2014 -> 10:28 PM) So it seems my one medium cup of hot coffee with one sweet n low and one dip of cream is not that fattening. I'm shocked about the juice thing. Guess I'll stop drinking orange juice now. I'm kind of pissed. I'm 6-foot-2 and shockingly now 240 after gaining 20 pounds the past year somehow. I haven't had a beer in 6 weeks; gave up all soft drinks, gave up coffee. Haven't had a potato chip or pretzel in 6 weeks aside from a small bag of baked chips if I go to Subway or somewhere (before that I was buying Lays chips late at night and sometimes gobbling almost the whole bag). I'm Eating just one full meal a day. Breakfast is a banana and juice (I'll stop the juice), lunch is an apple and I'm not losing the weight. I was walking/light jogging for a month straight, 3-4 miles a day is all, and sensed I was doing pretty well. Then, as has been my wont, I broke a bone in my foot (only a brace from my orthopod not a cast) 4 weeks ago and haven't been able to walk/run. I don't know what's going on, but the weight isn't coming off and now I want the coffee back. Your body is storing fat because you are starving. I would make it 6 meals a day if you are eating that small of portions.

Have my orientation today should be up and playing by the weekend. Also got a killer deal through the club on some new Ping irons as I wanted a set to keep there as well as a travel set.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ May 29, 2014 -> 10:30 AM) Even I sold out and got a Keurig, and use that now because of how easy it is, but I'll openly admit the coffee it makes is sub-par in comparison to what I consider real coffee (french press/non paper filtered). HOWEVER, it's more than good enough considering the factors surrounding making/cleaning up "real" coffee. And while I agree we benefited from the snobbish nature of craft brew people and coffee people, that doesn't make them less annoying. The Keurig doesnt brew a "great" cup of coffee but with the right brand it can be damn good, and so easy to use.

QUOTE (IowaSoxFan @ May 29, 2014 -> 10:06 AM) So does Marcus. Probably but they also need reserves on the MLB team and he's probably the top option.

QUOTE (IowaSoxFan @ May 29, 2014 -> 09:18 AM) I wonder if the Sox prefer Johnson or Semien, they both are both in play for the same roster spot down the road. To me, it seems they prefer Semien, otherwise he would be in AAA being showcased for a trade as I think they are doing with Micah at this point. They have three MLB or near MLB ready 2B and really only room for one, so I think there will be a couple of deals involving Beckham and Johnson before opening day 2015. Yes, EJ has a much better shot at rejoining the rotation, but I was never as high on him as some around here, but I think he can develop into a capable back end of the rotation starter. I feel like the key is to not panic and push too many chips in to compete at a fringe level this season. Keep building up the system with astute pickups like Rondon, Montas, Danish, Michalzewski, and such, and build the depth of the organization to a point where it is able to produce ML talent on an annual basis and allow the team to trade off veteran assets to fill gaps like bringing in Avisail last season. They arent showcasing anyone, they are trying to develop players the best they can, especially ones they think could be special or heavy contributors. Micah needs to be in AAA

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 29, 2014 -> 09:53 AM) does not compute Two very different points I made there and you are connecting them. But still compare a cup of folgers instant with any of the options you can get through a Keurig. Things have evolved because of snobs.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 29, 2014 -> 08:17 AM) I like the format, actually. I can't stand Jordan and am glad he's gone. What a moron. I like than even Cohutta the rube knew it was smart to egg him on. Then when he saw it was a climbing challenge he still did it? WTF.

QUOTE (IowaSoxFan @ May 29, 2014 -> 09:04 AM) This team isn't far out of contention with the pitching staff it has. Noesi and Danks last couple starts have been promising and it seems that they may be on track. If the team is still hanging around in July, it may make sense to go out and find another starter, but until then it gives EJ and Paulino time to try and rebound to competency. Personally, I think putting any additional resources into making the postseason this year is folly as it would likely cost assets that you would like to remain in your core for the next 5 years. I really expected this team to hit a wall at some point playing so many new starters, and while it appears Eaton has, Garcia and Semien are now out and have been replaced by veterans producing at a level consistent with their expectations. I think EJ will be in the rotation, Paulino-not so much. Also Micah Johnson will be a MLB player at some point full time so we have to figure out where to put him and who gets moved.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 29, 2014 -> 08:46 AM) Completely and totally disagree. The people who are pretentious about such things have made it possible for me to get a much better quality cup of coffee/bottle of beer without having to become an expert in such things myself. It's definitely annoying but we've all benefitted from it. Now I can get a good cup of coffee in somewhat remote places and its great. Also the invention of things like the Keurig were spawned which are game changers. The last bar I really worked at was in 2003-2004 timeframe or so, we have roughly 6 beers on tap and a few more bottles and that was completely fine with everyone. It was a super popular spot and nobody even asked for local beers. Today that would probably put you out of business. I LOVE that.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 29, 2014 -> 08:16 AM) Given that he didn't play the final 45+ minutes, I'd imagine that's highly likely. I kept seeing Kane skating with Bollig & Handzus and was so confused until I realized he was double shifting because Steeg had been benched. It was a great move to sit him since he had been hot garbage. I dont get why he thinks dangling with the puck at the blue line is a good idea for him.

Coffee has several health benefits but only in moderation. Drink that with little to no sugar, unsweetened iced or green tea and water and you're good. I like unsweetened vanilla almond milk in my coffee. Try that.

Luckily Saad was awesome.

Ahahahahahahahaha. Zeus, of course.

Anything goes in OT apparently.

It will either be great or like ripping off a bandaid.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 28, 2014 -> 08:58 PM) I'm not sure how much of the playoffs or this ECF you've watched, but no f***ing way are the Rangers better than the Kings. They aren't even better than the Hawks. That ECF has been clown shoes. A bunch and they are playing better than the Hawks. I didn't say the Kings. I think they take the cup once they close us out.
