  1. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 3, 2012 -> 11:52 AM) Wisconsin is going to be tough next year, who knows how it plays out. Who takes over for Jordan Taylor?
  2. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 3, 2012 -> 10:53 AM) Start reading the books. Even more information to it. I'm half way through the second book and it's great Is it true there are 8 of them??
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 3, 2012 -> 09:19 AM) It's the big ten. I expect that the best team in the conference rarely wins the conference, because they're facing off against something between a 4 headed monster and a 6 headed monster most years, and things are close enough that a few foul calls or a bad shooting day winds up determining the tournament. But you get some stellar games to watch. I fully expect alot of teams beating up on each other, especially with home court so lop-sided. I just hope that doesnt weaken the seeds in the tourney like it has in the past. It should be a great couple of seasons coming up in the conference. Ha, you read my mind with your edit.
  4. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 3, 2012 -> 08:06 AM) Scrolls down, sees #1, smiles, doesn't bother looking at the rest of the list. I know you havent experienced it in a long time, but theres no where else to go but down. High expectations make failures hurt so much more. There are quite a few Big Ten schools in the top ten on that way too early list. My pick for the team that challenges IU the most is MSU. OSU is still a year away from another run, but will be decent. Our best recruit from last year barely saw the floor at all this season.
  5. Does it seem like the refs are trying to let Kansas back in this?
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 09:54 PM) What an awful game...fitting for this awful tournament. They should allow kids to jump to the NBA again or make a 2 year rule. One and done players are talented but it really dilutes the rest of the game. Remember how good Duke was with 4 year players?
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 09:05 PM) It's really too bad Ohio St. couldn't have beat Kansas. Much more likely this would have been a closer game. 2011 OSU maybe, 2012 not so much. You need to have very good outside shooting to beat UK (IU did). KU doesnt have that and its being exposed. Diebler and Lighty could have given them a good run if they didnt choke like last year.
  8. Outside shooting has been pretty bad so far in that dome. Kansas has also done all of its damage in the 2nd half this tourney. If UK is up big at half, dont tune out quite yet.
  9. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 05:09 PM) Here is Forbes list, they also have some odd results: http://www.forbes.com/sites/chrissmith/201...valuable-teams/ Seven Big Ten schools on that list. No other conference has more than 3.
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 04:52 PM) Well, they can just use the football facilities right? Not really, football is football and gets all their own s***. I believe the number I saw was under 4 million invested in the bball team. Football spends almost 40 million. They have basically their own giant multi million dollar facility in the WHAC. Bball has a nice stadium and all but thats about it.
  11. QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 04:27 PM) Mine does it on my Mac but not my girlfriend's PC. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, but that's the most obvious correlation for us. imac and Macbook Air same problem.
  12. QUOTE (farmteam @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 04:27 PM) Apparently IU is the 3rd most valuable college basketball program. And Northwestern is 20th? I don't put too much stock in these things, but they're fun to look at. Based on that list OSU is 4th? And doesnt spend nearly as much money on bball as alot of those programs.
  13. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 04:09 PM) Yes. There is never not something to do. There is always more to discover. Also, the cab situation blows Chicago's away. Cabs there are somehow cheaper, still have yet to figure that out.
  14. QUOTE (almagest @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 02:11 PM) Is it just me, or is the stream for this game awful? Terrible stuttering on the video. Mines been like that all offseason. Not sure why.
  15. By far my favorite US city. Just the greatest. The people-not always great, but the city is unreal. I love having something to do every min of every day.
  16. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 12:05 PM) I'm glad they stopped showing Jody's horsecock every chance they could. Also, I want Karen dead. DEAD. I was real happy that Rossums tits showed up again, I also like the body on the goth chick lip is banging
  17. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 03:25 PM) This. Hell, the 2010 Stanley Cup almost didn't happen if it weren't for a miracle goal in Game 4. They were moments from being down 3-1. Then, the Hossa OT goal and lots of masturbating and the rest is, as they say, history. And they are definitely more dangerous now, and we are less.
  18. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 03:38 PM) I know you didn't mean anything by it, but yu wrote Whitey, not Withey. Kinda funny. Just being an ass; I realize u didn't mean anything by it. Ha, fingers getting ahead of each other.
  19. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 02:33 PM) Kentucky led Kansas by 17 in the first meeting way back in early Nov. Does Kansas get mauled? I am here in NOLA. That is all. GO SOX Get off the internets and go drink
  20. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 12:55 PM) Davis wont be guarding TRob. I bet he does some of the game since Whitey is worthless offensively. Also he will be standing in the lane helpside waiting to block every shot Robinson puts up.
  21. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 12:21 PM) Kentucky 72 Kansas 68. Self & the Jayhawks have just been pushing all the right buttons in March, but I think Kentucky is just too damn good, but it will be close. Personally I have hated Kansas even since Self was in Champaign, when they faced Illinois in the Sweet 16 in back-to-back years. On the other hand, a KU victory wins me a pool and a nice payday, so I guess it's a win-win situation. Im going to go KY 80 KU 63. Shooters have had trouble in that dome and I think KY is just too long for KU. Davis shuts down Robinson and the guard play is sloppy all around. KY in transition is what blows it open.
  22. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 09:24 AM) I don't have rabbit ears. I'm sure some places do, but wasn't able to get out to see the game. Not that it was that important of a game anyway. This thing will blow up if it gets later in the week and Cubs (and then Sox) games aren't on. Cubs games will blow this up. West End last night was reduced to playing the radio feed. Hilarious. Luckily I was at Cafe Bionda watching their comcast feed. And god help us if we face Nashville in the first round, they own us and have been our toughest matchup for years.
  23. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Mar 31, 2012 -> 03:39 PM) Which schools cheat? In the Big Ten, every single one with the exception of Northwestern.
  24. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Apr 1, 2012 -> 09:18 PM) Sullinger isn't going to be much of a pro imo, maybe similar to the worn down version of Elton Brand we seen last few seasons. Thats probably decently accurate depending on how the injury goes. 13-15 ppg 7 boardsish. He just doesnt have the lift to be a great player, I think alot of that is his strange legs. Alot of fans are hoping he stays another year, and I disagree. OSu has a real good chance to make another run in 2 years when these sophs are seniors and the frosh are jr's with Marc Loving coming in. Part of that is they need Williams to develop as a post player and that wont happen with Sully there.
  25. QUOTE (High Mileage @ Apr 1, 2012 -> 01:34 PM) Davis was very deserving but POY should have went to Thomas Robinson. Draymond Green IMO
