A++ Hahn was able to restock the farm with prospects while keeping his championship core of Moncada, Anderson, Eloy and Kopech intact.

Wow! Look at all that RH Power in that lineup! How can they lose?

RH power is a position of strength for the Sox?? LOL! A big portion of what little power the Sox have had this season was from Jake Burger. The Sox lineup is starved for power.

Eloy is more expensive, always getting injured, is a lousy outfielder and is a DH who whines that he doesn't like to DH. You can have him. I'll take Jake Burger who can play 3b, 2b, 1b at least as well as Eloy plays OF, and can DH without whining about it.

And Eloy is flawless.

He was the most likeable guy on the Sox. I don't have much interest even watching these guys play anymore this year, except maybe to laugh at them.

I hope he goes on a hot streak and carries the Marlins to the playoffs. White Sox aren't even worth watching for the rest of the season.

If that rumor is true then Hahn is worse that we thought.

Too bad nobody wanted Eloy.

Great memories. I remember watching that day game at Minnesota in '72 on TV, and I was at that doubleheader in '77. Two of my favorite years as a White Sox fan. Thanks, Lip, for always sharing these "Day in Sox History" posts. It's fun to remember the pre-Einhorn/Reinsdorf days.

Luis is a far better player, the best player on the team, but for me Jake is just more fun to watch and root for.

Jake Burger is the only Sox player that is fun to watch.

Remember when we were told they were just waiting to "flip the switch?" They even had some believing that bullshit, LOL! Still waiting to talk to Hahn after that parade.

Hahn is a symptom. Reinsdorf is the problem.

He'll probably be rushed up to the majors next season. I wonder when he starts his first game in the OF or 2B.
