  1. Solid hit by Abreu. We got something going here...don't stop now, boys!
  2. Nice hitting there by Pollock.
  3. He may have had his shortcomings, and he certainly was no Roland Hemond, but the Sox were much more enjoyable to watch during the KW years than since Hahn took over.
  4. That's what they"ve been paying him for anyway.
  5. Yes, but the Sox will still be paying Yoan like he is everything they hoped for.
  6. It's a terribly flawed roster and even the "good" players are way overrated.
  7. I'd love to see what they could get for him at the deadline.
  8. After the idiot (accidentally) hit the ump with his helmet, he continued to keep walking toward the ump.
  9. This team is overloaded with DHs so they start the guy hitting .205 .304 .555 there.
  10. The Sox are so boring Benetti and Stone have to hawk the food.
  11. And the hits just keep on coming. Ugh!
  12. You have a fair point but on the other side of the coin, every time he gets a hit, draws a walk or even has a good AB ending in a strikeout, many posters here act like he's back to being a 4 WAR player. I've never seen any other player get more of a pass and the benefit of the doubt. As we speak his current line is: .208 .264 .599. I would say the jury is still out. Now if he continues to improve and hits well from now on out that would be great. His defense at 3B along with at least average third baseman offense would make him a very valuable player and a fixture at 3B. But the way he so horribly under-performed at the plate the first few months of the season, whatever the reason, really contributed to crippling the Sox offense and was a major factor to their poor start. If he doesn't stay hot but continues to hover around his current stats, he needs to be replaced in the starting lineup with someone who provides more offense and used as a late inning defensive replacement. Let's all hope he returns to his 2019 form and stays that way.
  13. The Sox just have too many holes to fill. They need to improve at LF, RF, 3B, 2B, Catcher, and a couple of reliable arms in the pen. And even with that, they need Robert to come back healthy and Tim to remove his head from his ass.
  14. I wish they would have contracted this franchise back when they were talking about contracting the Twins, then moved the Twins franchise to Chicago and renamed them the White Sox. It would be like History repeating and that organization with the big market resources from playing in Chicago would dominate the AL Central.
  15. They are what their record says they are.
