Bring Burger up. Start him at 3B. Let Yoan come in late in the game for defense. When Yoan starts hitting again gradually increase his playing time. If he's gets back to what he's supposed to be Moncada wins his starting job back and everyone is happy.

He was much better but I wouldn't exactly describe it as being "on fire." And included in that stretch were multiple hits off position players.

That's what I thought. So if a runner slides home and misses the plate but the catcher doesn't notice, the home plate ump generally doesn't signal anything - safe or out. So now if the runner gets up, doesn't touch the plate and jogs back into the dugout and play resumes without the defensive team noticing, does the run just automatically count? Apparently so, but I've never really thought about it before.

You know, that's a good point that I never thought of before. Who is the official score keeper? Who actually clicks the counter or whatever to declare a run has been scored?
