Right field would be my preference. I really don't see any help coming from inside the organization. The Sox have a great offense but as we see hitters especially young hitters are prone to slumps and inconsistency. A veteran bat there can stabilize it.

I'm not necessarily a fan of all of it. Especially his comments about he wants to sign in a place where they are just going to let him do his thing including the starting every 4 days. That just messes with the other starters too much. Unless everyone is on the same schedule, it just causes too many issues that not everyone can handle. He may very well be able to, but not an entire rotation.

I didn't question what he does on the mound. The question was baseball=good. I don't think everything he does around baseball is good. Also, I've never said I didn't like him. He is the only FA TOR pitcher the Sox should sign if he stays on the 1 year deal.
