Thinking about having to pay Burnett near $10M per year makes we want to just walk away from this deal. Compare Burnett's career to Buehrle's and then go to Mark and say, "Hey, we are going to pay Burnett $10M. What do you think about it?"

I'm proud of the way the Sox organization, players, manager sons and fans came together to get Scott voted in. Podsednik is passable in LF, and a large part of that is due to his speed. He's no gold glover out there, but he's better defensively than Carlos Lee was for us.

Let the national media say what they want. I look at the standings and that tells me all I need to know about the White Sox.

We absolutely should not trade Joe Crede, unless he's part of a deal for Chavez. Vizquel is showing no signs of slowing down? Robbie Alomar was not showing those signs when the Mets traded for him, but that didn't work out so well. Those two extra years on OV's contract scare me, too.

Well, Dibble's credability factor is shot to hell.

Though I don't post at WSI, I have nothing but respect for what they've done with that site. Great interviews with ex-Sox players. Great photos. Etc.
