Yet, within the last few weeks Chicago was labeled as a racist city over Dusty Baker. A Pennsylvania cousin couple gets married, and a crack about Alabama is thrown out there. Oh hell, I'm trying to explain, but it's not coming out well. Pardon my rant.

There's really not much to say. He was a classic example of what I perceive a US soldier to be. May he rest in peace and his bravery and sacrifice always be honored.

There are going to be whispers and rumors about steroids for the foreseeable future. This is not a good thing, but it's the price that MLB, the union and the players have to pay for sticking their collective heads in the sand for 15 years. For an individual player that is unjustly accused, I will feel some empathy. For the muck they now themselves collectively wading through, I feel it's a case of them reaping what they have sown.

The White Sox winning the Worls Series would reign supreme over any other possibile sporting event. Let me emphasize that by adding .... PERIOD

If they feel that Widger is better for the ML roster than Burke, then Widger is who they should go with.
