Frank can't win, if he says anything that isn't straight from the Crash Davis School, he's whining. If he says nothing, he's ripped for that. I wish everybody else would STFU and let Frank play ball.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I feel that if you are a Christian that the way to approach the viewing of this movie is put out all the preconceived rhetoric you have heard about the movie. Forget your intellectual aspects, forget your politics. Go in to the movie with an open mind and ask God to guide you to the conclusion He would want you to come to.

Maybe that should show you just how radically far to the left you are.

His numbers were so bad in the first half, that as he was putting together that decent second half, it would be camoflaged by the first half numbers. For example, from that .197 low point, he had get it up to .205, then .215, etc. They still looked terrible, but he was producing from then on. It just takes time to get the numbers back up to a semblance of respectability.

Even thoough it may be "obvious" that Bonds took 'roids, in Wendell's opinion, he still should have kept his mouth shut until something definitive was out there.

I expect to start hearing the same type of thing from Cubbieville before long. Dusty was hard on those pitchers last year. Though, the time Prior spent on the DL after the collision with Giles may have saved his arm for another year.
