Someone said 40 was "over the hill" .... That was just my way of saying that's not true.

Maggs, for me, is a top priority. Trade PK, let Frank go so you can afford another good pitcher. If Maggs has a great year, he'll hit about .340, 42 HR and 140 RBI ... couldn't ask for more than that. If we could get a rightfielder for $7 Mil that could hit .300 - 32 - 100, that would free up $7 Mil to spend elsewhere. If you kept Maggs you'd be spending that money on 10 extra HR and 40 or so RBI. I'd rather spend it Luis Castilla or another good starting pitcher. That's why it makes sense to trade Magglio. I think the guy is great. I'd hate to lose him. But, you have put things in the proper perspective and look at the big picture.

I believe it will happen. Baseball might expand into Latin America and or incorporate Japanese baseball into the big leagues in some way soon, also.

Unless I missed something, the discussions between you and sideshow were just that... discussions. There's a difference of opinion with lively and at times probably sometimes heated. But, that's what makes this country great (Regardless, of what sideshow thinks ). You guys haven't resorted to the BS others have.

Due to people not using anitibiotics as directed, we are getting more and more infectuous strains that are getting harder and harder to kill. There are a few out there that the "big gun" antibiotics won't even touch now. Most people stop taking the drugs once all signs of the infection disappear, but they infection is not completely killed off. This allows them to mutate and build up a resistance to the antibiotics. It's important that presriptions are taken as instructed, even if you are smarter than your doctor or pharmacist. Exactly. I do have something to add. IF you have side effects to the meds your doc gives you, MAKE SURE you get him to get you a new one. Dont just give up...........if he says take something for 7 days, 3 days is NOT enough Ok, we've done our public service announcement for the day.

Those were both good designs. I liked the megaphone shape of "soxtalk.com". It goes with the theme of talk. In fact, you might put soxtalk.com on a pic of a megaphone. I'd be interested in buying a couple of these, for the record.

I agree. No way is Maddux worth Colon type money these days. I'd love to see him get number 300 in a Sox uniform at Wrigley, though.
