I think Grace had problems with Shamme because Sosa was so "ME" oriented. Grace didn't appreciate it any more than a good Sox fan did. Sounds like our kinda guy to me.
I'd like to see the Twins win the whole damn thing. First, it will bring some respect to the AL Central. Second, it will give us a chance to dethrone the defending World Champions next year.
My last game in Old Comiskey was the game in which Bobby Thigpen broke the single season save record. Bo Jackson's Royals were the opponant. It was also the first and only Old Comiskey game that my sons attended.
Everything I've seen has pointed to Clement as the game 4 starter.
The Cubs will go as far as Wood and Prior can carry them. And, that is scary to us Sox fans.
Javier Vazquez, Sidney Ponson are two off the top of my mind.
Now that would work. Loaiza, Buehrle, Vasquez, Ponson, Garland. Yes, I could live with that.
Did you notice the two most liberal posters are the two screaming for Rush's hide the loudest. Why? They want to shut him up because he is an icon of conservatism and they hate every word that comes out of his mouth.
Now, in this :
I don't see where he said McNabb "is only started because the media wants a successful black qb." It doesn't say that at all.
Oh, one more thing. There was another so called "racist" on that set that day. The one who said that Rush "had a point".
That would be Michael Irvin.
Racism my ass. Look who's playing the damn race card now.
f***ing joke is right.
When Cameron was traded, the change of scenery just might be what propelled him on to becoming the quality ballplayer he is today. If he would have come back for a third year in Chicago he might not have made it. There was a lot of pressure on him because the Sox (and Hawk) had hyped him for years.
It's ironic that he could hate the Sox for doing the very thing that allowed him to reach his potential.
It's all theory though. No way to prove or back up my supposition.
Daley is supposed to be at Wrigley on Friday. However, I still don't see what everyone is getting upset about. He is the MAYOR OF CHICAGO, representing the CITY OF CHICAGO supporting a team that PLAYS IN CHICAGO. Hell, if he ignored the Cubs being in the playoffs he wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell of being re-elected.
It's all about votes, people.
