  1. QUOTE (lostfan @ Aug 1, 2013 -> 08:59 AM) For what it's worth, the Alouettes have fallen apart without Trestman, Calvillo's QB rating plummeted, and they just fired their HC. They shouldn't worry, Trestman will be back there coaching in a couple years.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 30, 2013 -> 12:04 AM) Just watched the latest episode of The Killing. Holy cow was that tough to watch. I watched all three seasons of this show in about two weeks. That last episode was probably the best of the whole series. Peter Sarsgaard was amazing.
  3. Seattle. Which I will be moving to sooner or later.
  4. It won't work. Even Leslie Frazier told Jennings to shut up. Jennings has been spoiled when it comes to QB play. Wait till he goes to catch a pass from Ponder and falls two feet in front of him.
  5. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 26, 2013 -> 04:28 PM) How many of those guys would you really want re-signed right now? Peanut is old, Jennings has had one good season, Melton is already over paid, Jay is going to get an extension one way or another, Wright and Wootton...possibly if they're cheap but it's not like they're irreplaceable and do you really want to pay Robbie Gould 4 million a year? Even if you wanted to sign all of them, you couldn't. Cutler and Melton are probably must players to bring back, but both are going to break the bank big time. I can see them not wanting to bring Tillman and Jennings back because of age, but who replaces them? Plus you have Briggs and Marshall as free agents the next year. Marshall will want to be one of the highest paid WR in the NFL. The Bears bad drafting and big free agent spending is going to hurt them in the next few years.
  6. I didn't realize how many players on the Bears are going to be free agents. Tillman, Jennings, Melton, Cutler, Wright, Wootton and Gould. Yikes.
  7. Great article about the read-option and how coaches are dealing with it. It will be interesting to see how it works this season. The NFL’s Knowledge Gap
  8. @mortreport Pete Carroll concedes Harvin may need surgery as they seek second opinion Great trade.
  9. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 25, 2013 -> 11:33 AM) Probably my favorite That is disgusting.
  10. Matt Bowen is awesome on National Football Post. @BradBiggs Bears DT Sedrick Ellis didn't show for training camp and has informed team he plans to retire.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 25, 2013 -> 11:11 AM) Brad Biggs, John Mullin, Vaughn McClure, Dan Pompei, Zach Zaidman, Hub Arkush Excellent, thanks. what ever happened to Sean Jensen?
  12. Who are some of the better Bears beat writers to follow on Twitter?
  13. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 22, 2013 -> 05:19 PM) The writer rarely gets the credit. Goyer knows the medium. From what I know of Superman, it wasn't the story that hurt it, it was the Snyder effect at the end. Even so, I really want to see it still. A friend of mine is really hard to please with movies and he loved it Man of Steel had a very serious tone, which I think a lot of people didn't like. I thought it was great. Superman/Batman is pretty exciting. Those two have been teaming up for ages and they play well off each other. They have a lot more in common than people think. I'm not really worried about Bale not being Batman. I didn't think he was irreplaceable as Batman. It would be nice for the familiarity of it all, but not the end of the world. Some people have mentioned Karl Urban as Bruce Wayne, I think that would be amazing. He did a perfect job as Judge Dredd.
  14. @2ndCityHockey 2 years for Rozsival. A solid contributor last year. A nice stop gap until the kids are ready to take over
  15. I don't get the Tyler Seguin trade. So he is a little immature and had a bad playoffs. He is still only 21 with crazy upside.
  16. @AdamSchefter Boston PD has located red SUV with RI plates it was looking for as identified in July 2012 homicide. Aaron Hernandez rented it.
  17. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 27, 2013 -> 11:57 AM) God I hope they dont break the bank on Bickell. I don't think they will. They probably have a set number on what they want to pay him. If he goes over that, bye bye.
  18. Hawks are in much better shape following this championship. They have some cap room and some younger players in Rockford who about ready. Morin, Hayes and Pirri.
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 27, 2013 -> 08:56 AM) Vincent Lecavalier bought out. I know it's impossible, but one can dream of him as our 2nd center next season. Oh lord. Saad - Toews - Kane Sharp - Lecavalier - Hossa
  20. You wanna see upset fans, go check out the comment section of any St. Louis Blues blog. Some sad, but funny stuff.
  21. Oh great Kane is drinking again. We should trade him for Ryan Miller!
  22. QUOTE (MEANS @ Jun 25, 2013 -> 12:08 PM) I got to design the locker room t-shirt that they received last night, first time my favorite team won when I had the locker room design. What a great feeling! That is awesome. Congrats!
