Where would you live?

Featured Replies

Let's say your employer comes to you and says:

1. We're going to double your pay

2. We'd like you to change locations

3. You can work anywhere in the USA or Canada, except those poopy French parts

Where do you go?

I'd imagine some folks will stay put and others will hightail it outta there. I think I'd go to Boulder, CO

I'd love to live in SF, but not sure doubling my pay would make that any more feasible than it is now :)

SD possibly...or Malibu...Colorado isn't a bad choice either, Jake

Munster, IN

I'd move OUT of the Munster area and to a little spot in Northern Arizona, just an hour or so north of Phoenix, around the Flagstaff area.

See you there, neighbor!

:D

If not Boulder, I'd live somewhere in the Phoenix area.

Hawaii. Actually had a job prospect based there that went nowhere because the guy wouldn't tell me what the specifics of the job were.

If you have to ask, you're not qualified

Just outside of Nashville for me. I have spent quite a bit of time there and love it. My work would need to happen out of the West End.

Nashville's a nice place. Check out Yazoo Brewing if you're ever visiting

Ha, perfect! Yazoo is great and their owner has helped change some silly beer laws in TN

I wouldn't mind going to the Carolinas....though the first time a hurricane blows through I might want to change my mind.....

I haven't traveled to too many places in my life but Nashville would definitely be my number 1 for the places I've been.

I would consider retiring in Northern Arizona, but I love Chicago/Indiana too much to live out there now.

The hell out of America. You need this option.

Vancouver, Seattle, or Portland.

If I could stay Chicago would be my #1.

After that its not really specific order but San Fran, San Diego or LA. But my #1 by far would be Chicago.
