July 28, 201312 yr Let's say your employer comes to you and says: 1. We're going to double your pay 2. We'd like you to change locations 3. You can work anywhere in the USA or Canada, except those poopy French parts Where do you go? I'd imagine some folks will stay put and others will hightail it outta there. I think I'd go to Boulder, CO

July 28, 201312 yr Just outside of Nashville for me. I have spent quite a bit of time there and love it. My work would need to happen out of the West End.

July 28, 201312 yr I'd move OUT of the Munster area and to a little spot in Northern Arizona, just an hour or so north of Phoenix, around the Flagstaff area. I would consider retiring in Northern Arizona, but I love Chicago/Indiana too much to live out there now.
July 29, 201312 yr If I could stay Chicago would be my #1. After that its not really specific order but San Fran, San Diego or LA. But my #1 by far would be Chicago.
