Reinsdorf may be an overly loyal asshole, but the Ricketts are racist piece's of shit. I'll stick with Jerry.

I've said it before, Stone getting on Twitter has made me look so much respect for him. Just call the game, Steve.

Somebody just wake me up in 6 months and tell me that Cease learned how to throw a strike, Kopech still throws 100 and LaRussa isn't our fucking manager.

I'm usually a Sox apologist. I have been for a long time. I have no fucking idea what this organization is thinking. It's just mind blowing. I feel bad for Rick Hahn.

You think alcoholism is serious and you want to hire Ozzie fucking Guillen? Ozzie has been drunk af since 92. Have you ever looked at the guy and seen the way he's acted? He's like the quintessential drunk.

2020 Election Thoughts
Redefine workers. Late stage capitalism can't exist in an automated world.

2020 Election Thoughts
Your take is about as dogmatic as saying Reagan wasn't a capitalist because he believed in some minimal regulation. Bernie is a Socialist. That's fantastic. We need more like him. Socialism has a ton of value, especially as we move into the age of automation.

2020 Election Thoughts
There are around 12 different active interpretations of Socialism. Democratic Socialism is one. It's certainly not as stringent as Anarchism, but it's Socialism nonetheless.

2020 Election Thoughts
The de facto leader of the Democratic Socialist party isn't a Socialist? Well, alright then. I suppose Trotsky wasn't a Socialist since he was wasn't a Stalinist either.

2020 Election Thoughts
The resistance to Sanders, and socialism in general, is a generational issue. We're still a few years away. There are still too many active voters who grew up during the Cold War. I believe 64% of Millenials view socialism positively. We'll get there in time.

2020 Election Thoughts
Our relationship with healthcare is incredibly archaic. I think most people simply don't know enough about it, and assume our standards are higher than the rest of the world.

2020 Election Thoughts
You should take an open minded look at universal healthcare. The US pays a much higher percentage of it's GDP than any of it's western allies with socialized medicine. Universal healthcare is objectively cheaper.

Tony La Russa named Manager
You'd have a point if only one team was doing steroids.
-
Tony La Russa named Manager
Yeah, and they were all doing it. Every team was a pharmacy, and they still are.

I'll compare it to cycling. Lance Armstrong doping wasn't close to the worst cheating in recent cycling. Everyone in cycling dopes. The worst thing was when they caught cyclists using E-Assist. They basically motorized their bikes. It was far worse than doping.

Joe Nossek stealing signs from the dugout is one thing. Rigging a system involving cameras and computers to pass real time info to the hitter on a pitch by pitch basis is the worst scandal that's happened in baseball since Pete Rose. Bar none. Every team in baseball was/is using PED's, even while the A's were. Nobody has come close to building a system like the one Hinch and Cora used. Newflash: most of your favorite players were, and still are, doping.

Tony La Russa named Manager
I definitely held him in a much higher regard before he started Tweeting.

Tony La Russa named Manager
Hinch's cheating scandal is far worse than Larussa's, but I would have hated both hires. Every locker room in baseball has had PED's for at least 40 years. Not every team built an intricate and advanced system to steal signs. Hinch should be banned for life. With that said, I've defended Reinsdorf in the past, but this is indefensible. What a mess of an organization.

I never said they didn't have the right. They absolutely do, and I have the right to actively dislike them for it.

I miss the good old days when I didn't know the politics of athletes but just assumed the worst. Now they confirm and I actively dislike them.
