If anybody's ever been out to a bar where MLB players are at, this shouldn't be any surprise. A lot of them are so obviously geeked out of their mind on coke, it's not funny.

I'm not sure where the Sox rank, but it seems like we've produced a ton of MLB players over the last decade with little fanfare. Most of them just happen to play for other teams.

Bad contracts aren't a good sign for a team trying to improve. They're actually the exact opposite. The Rangers aren't going to buy their way to relevancy. These are the type of contracts that momentarily placate fans for a few weeks and then the fans realize they've sucked for the last 60 years and paying a 37 year old Marcus Semien $25mm isn't helping.

Don't you see, bad contracts are great for "culture." I'd love to have Semien, but that's a terrible contract.

Overpaying for an aging veteran does wonders for their culture. I'm sure the Rangers are finally poised to take off.

He's far from a perfect player, but he fills a lot of holes. I'll take him.

I think this year was about riding him to that limit. As cheap as the Sox are, I don't buy for a second that they would let a healthy Rodon walk on a 1 year deal. I bet his shoulder is toast

Rodon's pitched 669 innings over 7 seasons and finished last season hurt, yet again. I certainly don't think it's cheapness that stopped them from offering the QO.

I still like Hahn and I'm excited for the team. If they can stay healthy and clean up 2nd base, I fully expect them to win the AL. I'm not that worried about RF if Eloy and Robert can play full time. It 2/3rds or your OF is elite, you can live with a platoon or a project in the other spot

I don't see him repeating the 45 HR's he hit this year, he's 31 and he's only had 2 seasons with an ops over .800. I'm certainly not going to give him $25M a year.

As much as I like Semien, I wouldn't sign him to a gigantic contract coming off a career year. I don't ever see him repeating this year, he's 31, his obp has never been great and he's a mediocre defender.

Lindor's contract alone would scare most GM's away. If Hahn left the Sox for the Mets, I'll buy this site and pay everyone per post.

I've never heard of Barstool. I can't even imagine walking up to a stranger, starting a confrontation over purity in baseball Fandom and filming it. If I did something like that, I'd expect to get swung on.

I'm in favor of anything that brings the Astros past to light. If MLB won't hold them accountable, at least the players and fans can continue to remind everyone.

He has 324 PA's and he's coming off a torn hamstring. Based on that and his physical limitations, I'd be very surprised if he's ever better than anything other than average. He's a 5'6 one tool player coming off a serious leg injury. Good luck.
