  1. That's a really long post that never answered the question.
  2. You've completely created this narrative in your own head.
  3. I wonder how many GM's would trade Machado and Moncada for Moncada, Madrigal and $300M.
  4. Dunn had back problems and was a different hitter after he had that appendicitis for some reason.
  5. Our 3rd baseman is better than Machado already and just ever so slightly cheaper.
  6. Just messin around.
  7. Even if you sent him a gif of both swings side by side, Lord Law wouldn't admit it. Neither would Fathom. ?
  8. Probably because not all of these players are going to develop and advance in a linear fashion. They won't all peak at the same time. They won't all have sustained success at the same time. They won't all be together at the same time.
  9. I think people get too caught up in the results of an individual players and consider it a trend. Different coach's, techniques, and philosophies are going to resonate with players differently. It's like any teaching style. I could just as easily say, "Nova, Lopez and Bummer look outstanding. Cooper still has it."
  10. Based on what? Coop is a lifer.
  11. Time for the classic.
  12. "At SS" is probably the key part of that post. The Sox wanted him at 2b or 3b.
  13. I'm not sure why people want Madrigal leading off. He's like a 2 hole create a player. Incredible bat to ball skills and you're okay with him sacrificing ab's because he doesnt have any power.
  14. Yoans gonna be an obp machine next year. He's just going to become more and more complete.
  15. Sound off the bat really reminds me of Alfonso Soriano. Incredibly strong hands and wrists for his size.
  16. I prefer TA in a spot where he doesn't have a job to do, so I'd keep him out of the 1 and 2 hole.
  17. Moncada Madrigal Robert Eloy Timmy It ain't gonna happen, but I would love to see this line up in september Moncada 3b Madrigal 2b Robert cf Eloy lf Abreu 1b Timmy ss Collins c Mercedes dh Garcia rf
  18. Nothing much baseball related? It's all baseball related.
  19. I have less than 4000 posts in 15 years. How do you even remember what I say?
  20. This line is just a dumb. wish the decision makers would worry about their pro scouting more than negativity on social media
  21. I probably complain more about the internet? What does that even mean? ? I definitely have fun mocking you, fathom, caufield and jack parkham because it's easy and I'm lazy and have other character flaws... because I'm like a human, ya know? I still come to the site for the minor league board because it's so much more civil and informative, but the main board is a cesspool of reactionary babies.
  22. Of course they are. They love the attention. Read a game thread. They dominate them. The other day Cease threw a 94 mph fastball in the 1st inning and 3 posters starting railing on Cooper for ruining Cease. We won that game and it was probably his best start. Shit's crazy, man.
  23. He didn't make a big deal out of it. He just said it was unfortunate. I'm sure people will entertain themselves by making a bigger deal out of it than Hahn did though.
  24. It doesn't make people like that angry. People like that enjoy being negative. They thrive in that environment. They're the same people at your workplace who do nothing but b**** and moan. Nobody wants to be around them, so the internet is perfect because they can find echo chambers of like-minded people.
