Cease Struggling in AAA Recently
I'm wrong all the time. Garcia had been on a downward trend for several years before he was acquired.

No they couldn't.

You guys aren't kidding about that ball being live. It looks like a shank off the bat.

And yeah, based on the rebuild being exactly where it's supposed to be despite injuries to Kopech, Rodon, Dunning, Hansen, Burdi, Hamilton, Adolfo, Basabe, Lambert, Burger and a few others kind of shows that Hahn might know what he's doing. He absolutely fleeced the Cubs and Nationals and we still have a shitload of money to spend. I know, it doesn't fit the Soxtalk narrative though.

Not really. Jay Mariotti is a working "journalist. "? I made myself lol with that one.

This coming from the same yokel that complained the entire 05 season. You lost every shred of credibility back then.
-
Yonder DFA'd
You would have complained about that too. That's why nobody takes you seriously.

I'm so in your head you're bringing me up in thread's I'm not even involved in. You're a grown ass man too. Probably with kids and shit. Get yourself together, ya weirdo.

We've reached WSI levels of trash on the board. I blame Lip.

6/25 Games
Just based on the videos I've seen. Walker looks like he's more talented. Gonzalez looks like more of an overachiever.
-
6/25 Games
Don't you think Walker has more ability than Gonzalez though. I think we tend to look at results over talent too much.

Anderson leaves game with apparent injury
In this thread we share anecdotes about our YMCA injuries and compare them to pro athletes. I had a compound fracture of my tibia and fibula. Basically my foot was hanging on by soft tissue only. I was in a cast for 9 months, but it was 2005 and I saw literally every game that year.

Meh. That's what I was afraid of.

Missed the beginning. How did Fulmer's stuff look? Was he hitting his spots?

Well, the power is definitely there. He hurt that ball.

In 15 starts. The previous 3 years, he had era's in the 4's and was k'ing 6 per 9. Nice try at the "gotcha" post though.

Garcia and Contreras were also struggling when we acquired them. If we acquired a struggling vet, you'd have a shit-fit.

Sweeney is the natural comp. Although, I think it's really surprising that Sweeney didn't ever develop any power. You just can't teach that pretty of a stroke. If Rutherford makes it as a 4th OF, that's a success imo.

I didn't criticize Gio. What are you talking about? The Yankees have the 6th best offense in baseball, but Caufield gonna Caufield.
-
Sox @ Boston, 6:10
He beat the Yankees, Red Sox and Astros during this streak, but Caufield gonna Caufield.

Sox @ Boston, 6:10
He didn't have a feel for his slider or change. He was also falling all over the mound. Still had a lot of life on his fb. I'm not worried at all. The usual suspects are going to hate on him regardless though.

Sox @ Boston, 6:10
They were winning when Gio took the mound last inning.

Soxtalk experts strike again. ?

He's missing his spots, but he's also getting squeezed. It's a good learning experience.
