  1. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 6, 2017 -> 09:03 PM) I'm glad Ricky is contributing towards the tank any way he can... IKR?
  2. christ almighty Renteria is a s*** in game manager.
  3. sky didn't fall, sorry chicken littles.
  4. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 6, 2017 -> 08:23 PM) Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm definitely not seeing what you're seeing. And Hawk & Stone both think it hit a cable or catwalk. And quite frankly, why would it be ruled a HR if it didn't hit anything? I have no idea. But if Hawk thinks it hit something think the opposite
  5. That said, his bat is still way quicker as shown by pulling that pitch.
  6. Avi is back into his crouch, I don't like it.
  7. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 6, 2017 -> 08:09 PM) Not to be a dick, but the video of it on MLB.com is titled "Sanchez's homer off the catwalk". To me it's clear as night and day it hit something and the first thing that came to mind was a catwalk. Not to be a dick but if you watch the replay it's clear it didn't hit anything. The TB announcing crew was all over it.
  8. TA is fine. He's been -2.5 runs according to Fangraphs. That's mediocre obviously but for a 23 year old SS coming off a +13 year it's fine. He's going to take some lumps this is a great year to take them.
  9. Renteria and RV both have no idea how to use challenges effectively. God almighty, can we please get a manager that has a f***ing clue about basic strategy in the modern game?
  10. His command is just not there so far this year and for a guy that pitches at 90-93 he needs it.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 6, 2017 -> 07:21 PM) Yea. It was a super bizarre play you will see it On replay it clearly didn't hit anything it just had some crazy tail on it. I have no idea why they gave him a HR.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 6, 2017 -> 06:29 PM) Who cares, as long as he's healthy that's all that matters no kidding.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 6, 2017 -> 04:54 PM) Daryl Van Schouwen‏Verified account @CST_soxvan 11m11 minutes ago Carlos Rodon has allowed 3 runs -- 2 on a home run -- in 2 innings for Class A Winston-Salem. He also has six strikeouts. First rehab start. Apparently struggling with arm side fastball command. Stop me if you've heard that before. He's back, in all ways! Throwing 98 though is great. Must feel pretty good.
  14. QUOTE (maxjusttyped @ Jun 6, 2017 -> 05:24 PM) Sounds like a Chris Sale rehab start. Very encouraging to see. f*** yea. He sounds healthy. Let's hope he feels good tmr and the day after.
  15. How did Giolito get so many swing and misses last night?
  16. Probably the single most important thing that happens this week for the Sox and us fans. Don't care about the results, I just want to hear tmr that the arm feels good.
  17. I'm sick of the bunts. As far as the bullpen usage goes WTF is he supposed to even do when your starters are this bad and/or can't go more than 80 pitches? The injuries to the rotation have finally caught up to the Sox the past two weeks and it's showing in the strain on the pen. I really, really, really want to see Shields, Lopez and Rodon in this rotation by July. Start building some trade value for Shields and start building for the future with Rodon and Lopez.
  18. Yolmer, despite the two walks, which were well taken, had a really s*** game yesterday. The stupid stole base, the dumber pickoff, then the failure to make two rather routine plays at 2B for a fielder like himself. I think Miggy got into his head a little bit yesterday at 1B, filling his head with stuff. There are certain players that can joke and goof around on the field and still have mental sharpness. Seems like Yolmer has more growing to do.
  19. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 3, 2017 -> 03:25 PM) Said on the schedule all games begin at 10:30 a.m. JESUS! I spent a month in PR one time in April. The sun is basically directly overhead from 9am to 4pm or so. It sets and rises so quickly in that part of the world but is basically beaming straight down on you between those hours. Hopefully they have some nice shaded dugouts.
  20. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 3, 2017 -> 12:57 PM) The price of avoiding taxes Lol, Dusty Baker would say he is already acclimated.
