GT: Sox vs Royals 6:40 CHSN
Grew up in michigan had relatives in chicago for part of it and dated a girl from homewood flossmoor for a couple years in college. i can't claim chicago but i do love the city. one of my best memories growing up is eating at Ditka's as a youngster right after they won it all. that pizza sounds awesome. thin crust and greasy? f*** yea.

Teel being called up
Just getting Beni out of LF is a small win imo. He's one of the few LF that can actually cost you a game once a week.

Teel being called up
They've given him a pretty good shot based on the fact he probably can't hit his weight right now. I like Lee but there's no reason to have him on the 26 man right now. Quero seems to have made a little adjustment and is playing well enough to rotate with Teel. I'd probably say Quero plays 4 nights a week behind the dish and Teel a couple, with maybe Teel working in at first or DH a bit as well.

Sox Win to Split Series!
At home yea, on the road they remain pretty lifeless. That O's series was some awful baseball. We made a bad O's staff look like the p**** Patrol era in Oakland. That said, at least we're just regular old bad this year instead of historically awful. On a related note, Meidroth's statcast after that series is fun as hell. he almost instantly made an adjustment to get him back on track after hitting way too many early count FBs in the O's series. Being 94th percentile in range at SS is going to play as well, despite having a below average arm and sprint speed he makes a ton of plays. He has excellent instincts as a defender.

Ishbia taking control by 2029?
It's sad what happened to SB Nation, including SSS. Just a shell of what it was when the Cheat was running it. I'm personally not sure how you can spin this as a bad thing for Sox fans. Jerry wasn't going to spend any money or make big changes anyways. Now at least we have a firm exit plan for him.
