Well his floor seems to be like a 2 WAR 1B. That's way better than anything else Getz has done FA wise. Upside maybe 4 WAR if he hits 210/330/510 which is a tall order even in today's 3TO league. His defense at 1B seems average or slightly above. That was a nice play he made coming off the bag on Colson's toss the other day.

He's been awful his last two starts. His fastball velocity is down a couple ticks. Gotta wonder if he's thrown his best innings given he's already had TJS.

He has a good eye and a good approach. It seems like he's a guess hitter sometimes which with his stroke is absolutely fine. Same with Colson. Swing hard in case you hit it. Rather that approach then watching strike three go by like Moncada. If you have a good left handed swing, swing the bat!

Matt was quick but not quite that quick. 95-97 but he was an early adopter of the "rise" movement, he famously had a high spin rate fastball at a time it was just getting started.
