put it this way: anything posted so stupid and off topic in a game thread should be an auto ban.

political bs should be an auto ban.

wut

Is that frowned upon?

Pathetic thing is the pen has done a great job and we can't even score a few runs to make it a game.

Getting no hit again. This is becoming way too common despite the overall offense.

Yea I'm out, cya guys tmr.

That didn't take long.

This ballgame is over. It hasn't even started. Great job Burke!

We haven't played well the entire 2nd half imo outside a series or two.

Holy f*** he sucks.

Just a horrific start, he has nothing.

Great fucking start.

Awesome 0-2 pitch, goodness.

Damn the 7:40 starts are now pretty dark. Summer went by too fast bro.

pretty cool intro from the Pitt broadcast, some sinatra overlaying awesome city shots.

Until the 7th or whatever that was a stressful game with a ton of lobsters again.

lineup construction really doesn't matter that much. Next year he can bat higher. This year everybody is comfie and doing their job and there is value in never having an easy 1,2,3 on paper for a pitcher. Peters on in front of Ant isn't the worst thing, an AB or two less a week notwithstanding.

It would be nice to have a nice stress free game, we haven't had an early big lead and held on for awhile. If we do score 3-4 early we have almost always given it right back the next half inning.

He's been horrific for them. I'm glad he's in the lineup tonight. .229 OBP with Pitt, -.7 WAR.

I think at this point he helps balance the lineup and it's better then three easy outs at the bottom imo.

Tribe battering Orioles. We need a dub.

We have a chance to do the funniest thing:

Lineup been out for awhile, per the unwritten rules the game thread rights have been abdicated. Sam, Vargas, Mune, Beni, Colson, Braden, Peters, Chase, Teel. Burke on the hill. GO SOX.

We just had 3 100 loss seasons, it's a bit rich to be lecturing the fans for critiquing what are objectively bad moves so far. If we don't win the division, it's probably because we punted a half dozen Castillo starts.
