I hate it.

Pitching is so fucking random now. It's like you just pray like hell your analytics and sports performance guys can squeeze out a good staff unless you're like the Dodgers or Yankees. Good staffs exist, but the variance starter to starter is wild compared to when I was a kid 20-30 years ago.

It's nice having an actual 1B for 90% of the plays. The other 10% Gonzo could reach but it's largely just a wash.
