On a Sox team that has gotten the fewest 5+ innings from SP than any other team yea, it's important going forward. Our bullpen has carried a heavy load the last month, time for the SP to step up beyond Burke. Kay has done his part, lets hope he can give us 5+ strong this afternoon. He's bent but not broken for the most part, and that's a good quality in a 4th/5th starter type.

Watching the middle innings for the first time, rogers' receiving is so much smoother than our other options.

I enjoy picking on john and will continue to do so. Just like I picked on jason. I like my play by play guys to focus on the game. Len I like better than Jason and Schriff and he's mediocre. Obviously Hawk in his prime is the best, but there are other teams that have good ones. Aaron Goldsmith on the Mariners for example.
