  1. Yea but we can guess. Something is off with him. I think we can say that and not make a value judgement.
  2. Look I'm all for giving people grace and space. But at a certain point you gotta grab the wheel and drive for all you're worth. Their is a spectrum from "toughen up pussy" to "I'm full of anxiety and can't get off my couch".
  3. I'm honestly kinda shocked how similar it looks to low level college ball at times.
  4. part of a rape allegation with Dwight Gooden and Vince Coleman. Nothing ever came of it legally, not that that means much.
  5. I really just hope he didn't do something stupid with some girl.
  6. you just broke twitter. if you have one, pin that shit on your account.
  7. That's fair. I am a tough love guy for pro athletes so I really DGAF about what Tony said but I can understand other POV on that.
  8. There's two points I'd argue on that: 1) this is pro sports. guys get publicly thrown under the bus all the time. 2) Law is arguing in bad faith as he knows as well as any other scout, long ago fired or not, the flaws in Yermin's game.
  9. You know this is drama the club doesn't need right now. I like Yermin, but once again he's found a fucking way (in AAA nonetheless) to be a negative distraction for his team.
  10. lol, keith law and yermin are two peas in a pod. those guys haven't been able to work with others in their careers. Dan Z is fire. Love Dan.
  11. humans want to try and ascribe a 1:1 relationship to things. this just isn't' helpful here. there were many thing that led to his demise. the fact that he's a complete headcase battling a lot of demons on and off the field is probably #1, but there are a lot of things that helped his demise. not being a great baseball player is another big one.
  12. I mean, yea, this. Dude just quit. It has nothing to do with TLR or the Sox really. It has everything to do with Yermin. He has battled demons his entire career.
  13. twitter is the dumbest fucking thing. people trying to make a name for themselves yelling really loudly how TLR caused this. You gotta be bleepin' me! These people should be ashamed of their stupidity.
  14. occam's razor says he just got adjusted to. he was slumping before the 3-0 HR.
  15. with a 9.5 game lead and the team on pace for 100 wins you can shrug off nights like tonight. That said, the offense really needs to get its stars back. The warts with the AAA taxi squad are showing.
  16. I mean he's a former pro ballplayer and a guy that will never have to buy a drink in Chicago the rest of his life. He def has a lot of opportunities I hope he can see the light in his life.
  17. exactly. I don't get it. He's just a volatile guy. Hope he can find peace.
  18. Let me just add I hope Yermin can hang in there. He has a lot of talent and could easily have a 5 year MLB career ahead of him.
  19. pineda's off speed stuff has been pretty good tonight to be fair.
  20. you seem to be a huge cease defender? like he's been awfully bad for most of his career in the majors.
  21. I really wonder if Texas even wanted Cease.
