Ya'll just had 30 pages of whining and moaning and hysterical over-reaction invaldidated and Ray Ray actually posted an absurd fake tweet thinking it was real. This is fucking amazing.

TLR could hug TA after the game tonight and some of you guys would say it was faked for the media and fans. You all are fucking crazy. There is nothing amiss in this clubhouse and TA calling him a dad like figure proves it.

TLR derangement syndrome is a helluva drug. Luckily it doesn't appear the guys that work with him everyday are under it.

I remember being drained from playing 6 games in 5 days sometimes in college. We'd have a monday game, wednesday game, friday game and then a Saturday doubleheader. You're at the park for at least 2 hours before, games last 3 hours, and then the bus ride home if you're on the road is 1-3 hours too. Shit sucked imo. One of the major reasons I just didn't enjoy playing at that point.

"What are we even doing here"? Players raise concerns about foreign substances
@ptatc and @southsider2k5 you guys are right. There needs to be a sacrifical lamb or two and some actual consequences. This is some more "unwritten rules" crap IMO. Can't snitch, if you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin', all that crap.

"What are we even doing here"? Players raise concerns about foreign substances
Quite interesting in light of this article today. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/pitcher-zstats-at-the-quarter-mark/ Lynn is a big over performer of Dan's zFIP, which is some sort of statcast based FIP, above my paygrade.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
I wouldn't give up anything for him. He's injury prone, on the wrong side of 30 and at best he gives you maybe 1.5 more WAR rest of the season than whatever combo of Leury/Eaton/Engel/Vaughn/Mendick mans the corner spots the rest of the way. That's at best. There would be many middle case scenarios where it's closer to .5 WAR. Of course the Mariners would be smart to sell him NOW, before he gets hurt and while he's at peak value contract wise -- which is probably why they won't.

That reminds me, the moron JR passed up a chance to work with Chance on a custom Sox hat and then Chance created his own hat instead. Oof.

lol. Trust me, after awhile it's just a gig like anything else. I'm actually looking to sell my stake in it and move back to the regular economy within the next year. There are benefits of working for yourself but it also has pretty big drawbacks.

The entire team was so tight that if you shoved a broomstick up their ass it would have come out a toothpick. To me, that falls on the manager.

"What are we even doing here"? Players raise concerns about foreign substances
Pretty crazy article, with Sox' hitting coach Menechino quoted. Here are some excerpts, it's paywalled.

I see so many Bulls and Sox hats out here and 9/10 when I ask they say "I just like the hat". Blessing and a curse I guess.

The TLR Manager Thread
I'd be curious to see if people think Renteria and the Sox choked down the stretch last year. I certainly think they did. You could see panic in their faces and to me that falls on the manager. I've said this before but TLR is on a pass fail grade this year. If the team plays well down the stretch and under the bright lights of the playoffs then he gets a pass, if not, fail.
