  1. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Feb 25, 2012 -> 06:42 PM) The usual republican tactic of lying about voting dates backfires. Huh?
  2. Passan IF he's right and "Fridge storage by the collector" is a common procedure for most other testing programs, then even if it's not in MLB's program, then the people who are pretending that somehow we should still pretend he's "clean" have even less to stand on.
  3. BTW, any connection between CarGo and Braun or do those posts belong in the MLB thread?
  4. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 25, 2012 -> 11:40 AM) I hate the spring fluff as much as anyone but if Sale can stay healthy he's going to be an absolute stud. Kid is loaded with talent. Riefert
  5. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Feb 25, 2012 -> 02:58 PM) I agree that peak Beckham belongs in the two-hole though. After the 2009 season, I thought "Peak Beckham" would wind up being a great #3 hole hitter, but then he became a #9 hitter.
  6. QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 25, 2012 -> 12:12 PM) Did we meet with Dwayne Bowe's agent last night?
  7. So, I checked Brad Biggs's Twitter page and I don't see those Tweets?

Kap, you'll appreciate this...there's a 10 day Survivorman shoot going on right now, and it seems he's on an island in the middle of the Gulf of California very close to areas I've been, and where people I know have mapped.
  9. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Feb 25, 2012 -> 01:05 PM) That's plain crazy that they removed ESPN ESPN is one of the most expensive cable channels.
  10. Wait, so he added 20 lbs of muscle and plans to lose it?
  11. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Feb 25, 2012 -> 11:25 AM) What he said is right though. The Heat play great defense because of length and athleticism. Whatever offensive gameplan you have for them is still tough to execute because whatever you "trick" them with, they can recover pretty damn easily because of that length and athleticism. They're also able to pick your pockets as well. The only way you'll catch them is when they're being lazy. The only time they're lazy is when they have to chase someone around, but in reality, we've only seen Wade be lazy when it comes to that. LeBron really hasn't had to chase anyone around for a full game. I'd like to see him have to do it for at least half a game. That's why I'd prefer to get Ray Allen on this team. When Luol rests, do a lineup with Allen and Hamilton and make them work. If you kept Korver and want to go small, then throw Korver in there as well and run screens off of screens. Wade will get lazy with that. He has everytime in the past when facing Ray. LeBron would get tired out. And all three can shoot the crap out of the ball. Defensively, they're still easy to guard in the halfcourt. Win the rebound battle, and you'll have a good chance. You do realize there's pretty much no way to pull off Ray Allen on the Bulls right? You could match him with Deng, but then you don't have Deng. You could match him with Brewer and Korver, but then the Celtics are actually taking on $10 million for next year, which would be nuts for them. Maybe if you gave them the Bobcats pick and Mirotic, they might take Korver and Brewer along with it, but that's not only messy, it relies on the Celtics taking on a bunch of money next year.
  12. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 25, 2012 -> 11:56 AM) $6 million against the cap? Sounds like a fair number to me. Effectively saves about $1.5 million per year on the cap number.
  13. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Feb 25, 2012 -> 11:05 AM) I'd probably hit Beckham second. I think he would benefit the most from having a "job" to do. He seems like one of those guys that gets in his own head and his mechanics go to s***. Might agree with you had he not been hitting 2nd when things really started going to **** in 2010. Might be unrelated, but dah.
