After watching the games this weekend, I genuinely wonder if "Hey can our catchers actually block this guy's breaking ball" is a question they asked when they made that trade? I certainly never considered it as something that could be this much of a specific weakness.

The O line is weak, but Dalton isn’t great at moving around to buy time, and with no ability to throw deep, the safeties and corners can be more involved in stopping the run and blitzing the QB, which also makes it easier for the defensive front to focus on getting to the QB, which makes things worse for the O Line.

And Vaughn went from being ready for all 3 games against Oakland to being so hurt he couldn’t take one at bat in the 10th, within 2 days. Somehow.

The good news is there are no new injuries in the last 2 days, right?
