  1. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 07:00 PM) Some guys have very little power That was Brian Roberts' second homer of the year Point, Milkman. Garcia digging us quite the hole.
  2. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 07:00 PM) Why is it when our pitchers give up a homer, there is always someone who says they hit a good pitch? Freddy Garcia for some reason is washed up. It's weird, but that's exactly how it feels. It's just 5 years earlier than expected.
  3. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 06:59 PM) I am surprised he isn't bunted on more. Why hit a ball 10 feet when you can hit it 450?
  4. Uribe's defense is awesome and all, but he has some terrible throws.
  5. Our rotation is in shambles right now. We have 3 automatic losses. And recently, Contreras is racking up the losses even while pitching decently.
  6. And Freddy gives the run right back. Comical, almost.
  7. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 06:51 PM) Lol. Bases loaded, no runs score. What a start. We have to be setting a record for most times in a season leaving the bases juiced. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 06:52 PM) Lol. Bases loaded, no runs score. What a start. ... .... ..... I'm drawing a blank. Didn't we light up Kenny Rogers in Garlands start in Detroit? Or was it someone else. Robertson, I believe. I think the Gambler shut us down.
  8. Damn it, I'm so tired of leaving runners in scoring position. I'm also sick of our lazy ground outs to the left side.
  9. We tie it up. And yes, I'm also surprised that Cora managed not to be an idiot in sending someone home where they'd clearly be out again.
  10. QUOTE(rudylaw @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 04:40 PM) I think one of the teams will win the series by having more victories in the series that the other team. I also think that the team that win each game will score more runs than the other team. Dan Fouts?
  11. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 06:22 PM) According to Farmio he is at his customary 86 - 88. Hey, don't worry. Maybe he'll start humming it in there at 90-91 after he gives up 6 runs like two starts ago.
  12. Freddy getting to work quick. Took 1 inning to put us in a hole.
  13. I've said it before on here. One of my friend's has a brother who is a trainer that has worked with a lot of these cyclists. He says that absolutely all of them are on some kind of drug.
  14. Ha, I just keep thinking Fields will be Joe Borchard pt. 2. I can see how he'll have all this value at 3B, but wouldn't he just end up being a mediocre LF production-wise? If we can get good value for him, get rid of him.
  15. I'm tired of hearing that Fields is untouchable. It's getting to the point where I want him traded for something to help us. He will never play 3B for the White Sox and LF's aren't exactly hard to find.
  16. QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 02:59 PM) like your avatar milkman. too bad the Sox couldn't have Mr. Perfect- WE WOULDN'T LOSE! The guy didn't make mistakes. Imagine that on the Sox.
  17. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jul 27, 2006 -> 03:51 PM) Anybody with a brain knew Ozuna wouldn't keep that pace up. Funny, I don't hear anybody endorsing him to be our starting LF anymore. I still think Mackowiak should start in LF and lead off for a while, with Ozuna getting a start once in a while against tough lefties. Same as I've been saying for a long time.
  18. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 21, 2006 -> 01:19 PM) No thx. I'll take my chances with what we have now. If we could have him for no major league pieces, then I'd jump all over that opportunity. Willis would most likely do great his first time through the AL, which would be perfect for the stretch run.
  19. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jul 21, 2006 -> 12:25 PM) I dunno about her being the female HHH. After all -- in Trish's defense, she's not banging one of the boss's kids. Ha, that's true. But in case you didn't understand what I meant (though I'm sure you did), I was referring to her title reigns that last over a year. And do you know what I'm talking about with the kick thing?
  20. This gives me a little hope for our prospects of trading for a good reliever. I understand that Wickman isn't great or anything, but this price seems very low.
