As a "control pitcher," Garcia absolutely fails. He's probably the worst control pitcher in history. He needs his stuff in order to be effective, and he just doesn't have that fastball anymore. I don't know why he's lost his velocity, whether it's chemical or from overuse, but he's just not a good pitcher without it. I remember before this season started, I was happy we'd have the opportunity to trade Garland or Garcia for something valuable. But now, it seems like we'll have a tough time trying to get them off of our hands. And I don't want either of them after this year if they're both going to be their current selves. And we definitely don't have the best 5-man rotation in baseball history.

Can someone tell me exactly what pitches Montero throws, and how fast he can throw his fastball?
