  1. Credit to Montero. He didn't look especially good, but he got the job done. Can't believe it.
  2. I can't believe Montero got 2 outs. Let's get this last out as quickly as possible and get to the next inning.
  3. Why is Montero in? For the love of everything, why is Montero in?
  4. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 09:11 PM) Who comes in next inning? Cotts? I don't even wanna think about it.
  5. Crede better make up for that gaffe. That was a terrible decision. Crede is great defensively, don't get me wrong. But, his errors always seem to be the ones that hurt the most.
  6. Congratulations!
  7. I'm very interested just because so many people on here have wanted to see Tracey in the bullpen for a while. Let's see if you guys were right.
  8. My friend told me about this a few hours ago. We've known for a while that he was dying, and recent pictures show that he had lost a lot of weight. It's a sad day. RIP
  9. One thing I want to know is his HR placement. I swear, at least 15 of his homers have been to LF this year. Can someone find that out?

But since he has come to Chicago, he's having his official coming out party. No longer does he deserve to be second fiddle to the other right fielders in the game. Jermaine, at the moment, is #1. Yes, I think he's the best right fielder in the game. Better than Guerrero, Maggs, Abreu, and the new flame from Toronto, Alex Rios. And to think we have him under contract for another season at a complete bargain! I love this guy. Ugh, not another gay baseball player thread.
  11. Not sure how I feel about this move, but I think it would really help our playoff chances. Having two great people and prolific hitters on our team (Griffey/Thome) that have never won it all would just be one of those great stories for another WS push.
  12. My second game of the year, and it's another come from behind winner. This game and the first game against the A's have been two of the best games I've ever been to. And we gotta keep Uribe out of the lineup for a while. This is exactly why I wanted him out.
  13. Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday! Knight, I'm still loving the sig.
  14. QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Jun 5, 2006 -> 10:05 PM) I don't care if someone is gay as long as he can hit the ball, field the ball, or pitch the ball and do it well. I have a teacher who is openly gay, and no one cares And if he can stroke a long one every once in a while, that's even better.
  15. Not to put a damper on the idea of the Sox getting Patterson, but if he keeps playing the way he is, we'd never have the prospects to get him.
  16. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 5, 2006 -> 09:08 PM) There isn't a single player in baseball whom is still playing that has come out of the closet. It would be an impossible situation. I'm sure there's more than a few who are gay but none of them show it openly. I didn't mean there has to be some that are openly gay. I meant that there has to be some that are just gay.
  17. There's gotta be. I mean, with that many people, at least a few must be. And I've heard that about what Felix said. But, I think that was a popular rumor.
