QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Feb 14, 2012 -> 05:14 PM) Cowboys and Aliens. Ugh. What drek. When it comes to movies and TV, I feel like you're an exaggeration of me.
-
QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Feb 14, 2012 -> 02:28 PM) I'll never forget that game-winning slide into home against Oakland. Thomas doubled off the wall and Stache scored from first I think. Then there were fireworks after all that. Maybe my best night at the cell. Yup and ditto.

This thread is absolutely packed with win.

Rumor? - Cubs deny consider playing at the Cell for 2013
Milkman delivers replied to chisoxfan09's topic in Pale Hose Talk
One thing I can say for certain is that there would be a decent contingent of Cubs fans that would do everything possible to f*** the place up that year. -
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 14, 2012 -> 10:31 AM) Ken_Rosenthal Ken Rosenthal Sources: #Angels interested in Burnett, but they are on his no-trade list and he wants to stay east. #Pirates heavy favorite. #Yankees #MLB What a f***ing loser. An opportunity to go to one of the most stacked teams in baseball, and he'd rather go to the Pirates. I always pegged A.J. Burnett for a loser, but this seals it.

Meh, whatever.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 14, 2012 -> 07:17 AM) Judge rules that Sandusky is allowed to see most of his grandchildren. Well except for the one who he is also accused of molesting. The trial and jury pool will stay in the State College area, which just sounds like an awful idea. Yes it does.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 13, 2012 -> 07:20 PM) Ray Rayner, 84 I don't know who that is, but he died in 2004 according to Wikipedia.

You could put it that way. -
2011-12 White Sox off season catch all thread
Milkman delivers replied to southsider2k5's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Feb 12, 2012 -> 07:59 PM) At least they are brief and pithy retorts back and forth. There's quite a few posts that are multiple paragraphs. I always read them and then realize I'm not absorbing any of it. -
QUOTE (TomPickle @ Feb 12, 2012 -> 07:45 PM) Yes, I suggest you check out the documentary "Space Jam" it really does a good job profiling his attempt to become a major league baseball player. Haha, I laughed out loud.

QUOTE (sunofgold @ Feb 12, 2012 -> 07:19 PM) Maybe we got this guy to throw batting practice. Help boost the confidence of our hitters. Just kidding. The scouts probably saw a good, strong arm. This guy has some baseball experience. You never know. It could benefit him that he hasn't pitched in awhile. No bad habits to break. Our coaches can start from scratch with him. He isn't the first athlete to try a different sport. Even Michael Jordan played some ball with us. Bo Jackson did too. Really?!

2011-12 White Sox off season catch all thread
Milkman delivers replied to southsider2k5's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 12, 2012 -> 07:28 PM) Is it just me or are they having the exact same argument in multiple threads? Possibly, I've stopped reading a few threads because of it. -
2011-12 White Sox off season catch all thread
Milkman delivers replied to southsider2k5's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I think we now need a thread for Marty/Balta arguments to go along with one for SS2k5/Balta arguments. -
Shouldn't the title say "worst"? That's been bothering me.

2012 Cuban signees thread Cespedes/Soler/Concepcion
Milkman delivers replied to southsider2k5's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Feb 12, 2012 -> 12:55 PM) If the Sox do somehow land Cespedes, do you think he begins the year in the farm? They won't, so it doesn't matter. -
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 12, 2012 -> 02:54 AM) Albert Pujols is an Angel. Welcome to the 21st century of professional sports. It's truly projectile-vomit and explosive-diarrhea inducing that he's no longer a Cardinal.

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Feb 11, 2012 -> 11:16 PM) She was a good girl before she hooked up with that POS and led her into a life of drugs thst ruined her career and probably now cost her her life. Entirely her own fault for being with him and doing f***tons of crack. One less crackhead out there.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Feb 11, 2012 -> 07:21 PM) I'm betting we get more of the 92-96 MPH Peavy fastball than we've seen since we acquired him. He had flashes of it last year, so the mid 90's haven't disappeared, the stamina/endurance/arm strength just weren't there to sustain it at those levels. I've expected, and still do, that Peavy will have a good year in 2012. Mostly because he can sign a big deal after it, and this year won't matter to us.

QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 11, 2012 -> 04:02 PM) Agreed. There was talk of doing a mini-series after the fact to wrap things up, but it looks like that's unlikely at this point. A real shame too, as Deadwood was fantastic. I'm pretty sure Ian McShane said that it was never going to happen at this point (and that was years ago). All of the actors were down for it, apparently. QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 11, 2012 -> 04:19 PM) I hate it when the walking dead sneak up on me. I see what you did there.

Official Squared Circle Thread
Milkman delivers replied to Rowand44's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 11, 2012 -> 03:58 PM) That is what I thought. WTF I bet they have about 6,000 of these positioned throughout the stadium: That, or a bunch of flaming garbage cans. -
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Feb 11, 2012 -> 03:14 PM) Not anymore. Peavy, when he is healthy, is still pretty damn good, and better than anyone on our staff. On top of what Balta already said, I believe these rankings are how they figure the season to play out. They are probably, like most people, expecting Peavy to break down yet again and be pretty worthless. When Johan Santana is healthy, he's the best pitcher in the game. He's just not healthy anymore, so he's not better than a lot of guys.

QUOTE (jwmann2 @ Feb 11, 2012 -> 01:16 PM) Adam Dunn was also a former QB. He came to Texas to be a Longhorn and they tried to make him play tight end. That's why he left to pursue baseball. So what you're saying is that he's now going to leave to pursue tennis?
-
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Feb 11, 2012 -> 11:55 AM) Well not in my book, or anyone I talk baseball with. This is why Mark Prior and Kerry Wood are better than Mark Buehrle, right?

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 11, 2012 -> 01:32 PM) Phantom Menace 3D review Man, that was 13 years ago but it feels like yesterday. Kind of sad.
