  1. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 10:34 PM) J4L, May not agree with what you say, but I do agree that you should be able to have your opinion (regardless of what I may think of it). That being said I can understand why people are frustrated with how the posting has been going, but that is the ebb and flow of message boards, especially sports. May not live for the board, but the loss of any poster is a loss. Haha, no. This would be a definite case of addition by subtraction.
  2. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 01:57 PM) I wish you were a billionaire so that you could start a new MLB franchise called the greg775 Super All Stars. You could have Ozzie manage for you and feature all of your favorite players like Bobby Jenks, Dewayne Wise, Juan Pierre, and Mark Kotsay. Haha. I seem to remember a few articles from last year that mentioned Ozzie not liking Viciedo and saying he had a bad attitude. I wonder if that has something to do with Ozzie not wanting him on the roster in 2011?
  3. J4L, watch these three videos and then tell me that the Blazers' collapse in game 7 was on Pippen. The whole team choked.
  4. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 12, 2011 -> 10:51 PM) How stupid does Scottie Pippen feel right about now? That dumbass still to this day doesn't realize that MJ made him what he was. Scottie - MJ= Reggie Lewis or something. Uh, dead at the age of 27?
  5. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jun 12, 2011 -> 10:43 PM) They were simply taking their talents to South Beach. Aside from ditching Spoelstra for a legit head coach, what you would like to see Miami do in the offseason to improve their team?
  6. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jun 12, 2011 -> 10:34 PM) You can't catch too much grief for being a Heat fan. There's only like 10 of us in the world now. I liked how the Heat "fans" started walking out with like 3:00 minutes left. Especially the people in the lower bowl --- how much did they pay for those seats?
  7. I thought there would be a lot of discussion in here about Shaq retiring, but I guess in many people's minds his career has been over for a few years. He has had a pretty significant effect on not only pro basketball, but pop culture as well. SHAQ + WU TANG haha:
  8. Regarding Buried, I know he was freaking out, but it bothered me to no end how he
  9. At the end of the game last night, I noticed a graphic on the right field wall in Toronto that showed Edwin's picture and said he was warming in the pen? Did anyone else notice that? Maybe that is a precursor of what is to come?
  10. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ May 26, 2011 -> 11:52 PM) And yet the bulls were still up double figures in the 4th before they stopped running offense an Lebron showed why he is easily the games best player. 99, what do you think needs to happen for the Bulls to advance to the Finals next year?
  11. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 26, 2011 -> 11:16 PM) Just like the rhythm Miller & Haslem were able to develop all season Seriously? They each had one good game and were pretty much non factors in the other games.
  12. Another thing I think that a lot of people are overlooking is that this team really never gelled offensively because of all the injuries during the regular season -- which carried over into the playoffs. Hopefully, Noah and Boozer (yeah right) stay healthy next year and the team develops a good rhythm on the offensive end.
  13. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 26, 2011 -> 11:05 PM) Like I said, I'm sure he will improve in that aspect and every other aspect of his game. My point is that I refuse to give him a pass because of his age in this situation. I really don't care that he's 22, he was downright pathetic down the stretch of these games, period. Dude, the whole team sucked balls down the stretch. It wasn't all on him.
  14. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:56 PM) I'm sure he's going to improve but that has nothing to do with this. If he had a bad series, fine, but the way he literally s*** his pants down the stretch in the last 4 games whether he's 22 or 35 or 55 was just pathetic. He was f***in horrendous. What? He's twenty-f***ing-two years old. The guy has steadily improved in every aspect of the game since entering the league. Why is it out of the realm of possibility for him to improve his poise/composure in high pressure games going forward? Step back off the ledge.
  15. QUOTE (kev211 @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:48 PM) I've been a crazy optimistic sports fan my entire life. But the NBA doesn't stand a chance the next 5 years, they made and will most likely win the NBA finals in their first season and they are only going to get better. A Howard-Rose or Howard-Kobe connection are the only thing that might be able to stop it and the second one of those for only a few more years if that. uh, what? You have no clue what will transpire in the NBA over the next five years. This is especially true with this Heat team. Wade's body is not going to hold up. I can understand this type of reaction if the Bulls were blown out in every game, but all the losses were extremely close. The Bulls didn't execute. That is why they lost -- not because the Heat are destined to win every year.
  16. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:37 PM) I can't stand Miami and I especially can't stand LeBron but what the f*** do you expect? That asshole was f***in insane this series, unfortunately he deserves all the credit he's going to get. Hopefully someone on Dallas literally punches him in the mouth though. He was awesome while our superstar grew girl parts. You don't think this will ultimately make Derrick a better player? You know this series will motivate him to work like a fiend in the offseason. Rowand, believe me, I hate the f*** out of LeBron and company. Fortunately, I can take solace in the fact that Bulls fans have yet to see his best.
  17. I think the Bulls would have taken this series handily with a legit 2 guard. Get one in the offseason and we are back in the ECF.
  18. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 26, 2011 -> 12:07 PM) I still say that the Bulls push hard after Iggy this offseason. They like him, he's on the trading block supposedly, and we have 3 first rounders (albeit, two are late firsts) to offer along with expiring contracts. That would be amazing, but how would that work contract-wise? He has a pretty huge deal, right?
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ May 25, 2011 -> 03:32 PM) Darn, hell of a start by Gavin then. I really dislike 2/3 of our outfield this season. Just don't bring anything to the table. Rios has no business being this bad. It makes no sense at all.
  20. Gah. This team makes two runs feel like an insurmountable lead!
  21. QUOTE (ptatc @ May 23, 2011 -> 01:30 PM) randomized double blind studies are rare in all medical literature due to confidentiality, HIPPA and FERPA concerns as well as patient consent. However, walk into an NFL locker room and you'll know. The most obvious sign for HGH is the head changing shape. It usually has the Jay Leno chin effect and the protruding forehead. Of course you can't prove it. there are many studies done on the lower dosage HGH for the treatment of dwarfism and some muscular diseases. All of this research shows the improvement in growth and the increased muscle strength and endurance. I wonder if the suppliers of HGH tell these athletes about the acromegaly? I wonder how many would reconsider if they knew that taking that stuff would leave them looking like Homo erectus.
  22. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 22, 2011 -> 10:08 PM) Bulls simply got outplayed. There needs to be adjustments made on defense. Uh, how about not jumping into people on shot fakes? That would probably save about 7-8 fouls a game.
