so about 10 years ago the tribute was to retire his number so nobody could wear it. Now everybody has to wear it. not sure where this makes sense.

That was a very nice video. I was at one of his first games back in 2000. I can't believe that nine years have passed. We have really been spoiled with great defensive 3b the last 20 years.

I'd be a utility player. I can play all over but much better suited on the corners. Defense was my strength and I could not hit much. I was not much of a contact hitter but I walked a lot. I think one year I had around a .200 BA but had an obp over .500.
