  1. What in the blue hell was that?
  2. "Aw, come on Joe! That is BS. He's a good umpire but PEOPLE CHANGE. How ridiculous. I mean, come on! What a BS call..."
  3. Always entertaining. The most memorable Hawk blowup IMO has to be, "What are you DOING, Brian Gorman? Are you NUTS?!"
  4. To be perfectly honest, I'm excited as HELL to get Peavy and I really want to see him pitch, but I REALLY want him to just spend the rest of this season healing. Let him pitch next year; I don't want to see another player rushed too soon. Better safe than f***ed.
  5. I saw Jake Peavy and I... JIZZED. IN. MY PANTS.
  6. I've been down on the Sox organization and especially Kenny for a while now. He just gained back so much respect I used to have for him, maybe even MORE than I ever had for him.
  7. I know, I know. I'm sorry. Forgive me for eying the stats like a hawk after such a big trade. I originally made a post regarding his W/L, but I deleted it after I realized what you are saying. I was more directing that towards the guy I quoted. Overall, his stats seem pretty solid. Either way, I'm very exited over this trade.
  8. I can see where you are coming from. His W-L ration is less than impressive, but his career ERA made me nod in approval. We'll see how he fares in the AL. Totally worth the trade as it is right now, IMO.
  9. Don't want to be a downer, but this is still worrisome. His future is cloudy with this type of injury and we didn't trade THAT much to get him. I hope he recovers fully. Let him sit out the entire season if you have to. We need Peavy to be on his game for us.
  10. Wow. It's been a long time since I was this excited about a trade.
  11. Awesome, but I would totally be in favor of waiting until next season if it benefited his health. I'm a little surprised we didn't have to give up more than this.
  12. I must know as well. With him on the DL, I won't be excited about this unless I know we have him locked up for a while.
  13. WOW. Nice. But I just remembered he is on the DL. How long until he comes back and how long do the Sox have him locked up for?
  14. LOL wow, I guess that really was forgettable.
  15. Personally I can't say I disagree.
  16. Wouldn't that be the second year in a row with a sub-par team that no trades were made?
  17. I'm finally just gonna say this... To the OP: Please STFU. These types of threads are just SO melodramatic and utterly STUPID.
  18. Hawk: "I wish I could cuss right now." LOL.
  19. How many pitches straight down the middle does Paulie look at?
  20. Time to get owned by Nathan again... we are the Twins' personal b****es in this stadium.
