Been to: 1. front row for a Radiohead concert (by waiting around for 14 hours) 2. each state east of the Mississippi river. Maine is the best 3. an NFC championship game 4. Texas. For somebody not familiar with Texas... this was an adventure. 5. the Badlands Want to: 1. Mogadishu 2. Port Moresby 3. Osaka Bay in 1945 4. The Balkans 5. NORAD Frankly, there are so many places I want to go to that I haven't been yet. I'm taking the steps necessary (Japanese foriegn language minor for instance..gahhh) to change that, however.

The hot rumor right now is that The Flaming Lips will play The Soft Bulletin at Pitchfork this year.

There are a number of these where it is physically impossible to avoid getting a ticket if you get an unlucky yellow light.

New Decemberists is out tomorrow. I loved the first album but they've gotten steadily worse IMO.

That's pretty awful that pro sports teams are making a 16 year old kid play 125 baseball games a year. My guess is he burns himself out on the sport by the time he's 19 and fills that void with a cocktail of drugs that would make Josh Hamilton squirm.

Seriously, between Now We Can See and Veckatimest 2009 is kicking ass for me.

Three piece punk rock band with great hooks and distinctive vocals. Now We Can See might be their most accessible album yet, but The Body, The Blood, The Machine is my favorite album of 2006. If you want anything I can PM it to you.
