Not that I agree with the logic....but I'm guessing Linebrink was left in the game with hopes of saving the bullpen. With Garcia and Contreras going the next two nights, you have to figure the pen is going to get some work.

I'm not as upset by the HR as I am by the back-to-back walks.....you just can't give a team 2 free runners with a three run lead......thats a recipe for disaster.

When a pitcher walks in a run, why in heck would the next batter even swing at the first pitch? (Yet alone a pitch well out of the strike zone)

When I started this thread, I was surprised how many people thought this possibility was dead. When Kenny Williams wants a guy, he usually gets him (no matter how long it takes). Thats why I still think Chone Figgins will end up on the Sox (even if its in 2018)
