Highlights

6 games to start the season at home

7 games to end the season at home

16 home games over the final month

The tough road trip is from Aug 30- Sep 9: 3 @ CLE, 3 @ BOS, 4 @ DET

Interleague: Home vs ATL and FLA; Road @ PIT and WSH (this looks great!)

First games at MIN May 11-12

We always play Boston at the end of the season and Toronto at the beginning... getting tired of the same thing every year.

Still not playing the Mets?

The same ol does suck. Toronto will be good when we play 'em and Boston is impossible to beat on the road during the part of the season when things really matter.

Hopefully we can start that 10 game road trip by beating Cleveland 2 of 3.

my god greg are you complaining about next years schedule being impossible already?

lol

Totally. We should just contract our organization after October and call it quits.

Still not understanding playing Pittsburgh - EVERY YEAR. We haven't played the Mets since '02, I think.

Why not games against the Cardinals more often than not?

NO s***. My dad and I love these.

Good to see our two NL road series are against the two worst teams in the league.

The Cubs series are both back on the weekend.

7 of the last 10 games of the year vs. LAA & Boston means we have to clinch the division early next year

Championship!

if i have the time i'll think hard abotu going to see the sox play in Pit though....that stadium is awesome

Good to see a few new interleague teams, but the PIT thing is irritating as hell.

Also, it seems like we have played CLE on Opening Day all but one of the past 5 or 6 years. That is also getting old.

And remind me again why we're mad about facing Pittsburgh? The more games vs them the better.

Why do people not want to play a bad team like Pitt?

If we win the division by 1 game next year will people really be thinking "Damn I wish we didnt win all 3 games against Pitt, Id rather have played STL."

^

I agree. Bring on the Pirates every year.

Overall, I think the schedule next year looks pretty fair.

Totally, I'd much rather play @ Pittsburgh & Washington then @ Philly & NYM, that could be a two or three game swing in our record easy

As someone who can get Mets tickets fairly easily and cheaply this frustrates the hell out of me.

as someone who's second fav. team and my brother's favorite team is the mets, and the fact that the only time they ever DID play each other we were out of the country, I am beyond frustrated!

we should start a campaign.

I might have to make a trip to DC.

Best thing(s) about this schedule...

Longest roadtrip is only 10 games. I really like to think this schdule is set up really nice for us, we won't have to see Boston and New York back to back among division rivals in one trip.

Loving the fact the Bravos come back up to the Cell as well. Vasquez returns to get f'n shelled! :headbang

People complaining about playing Pittsburgh??? The Mets are fun to watch and all, but lets be honest here, it is a huge break for the Sox that they miss Philly and NYM out of the Inter-league East schedule

Ya i'm definitely gonna be down there for that series. I'll prolly take a few days off before that and head out to Pittsburgh first too.

Would have liked to play the Mets due to being able to get tix and seeing them, but I'd rather trade the win potential with PIT/WSH

I tried Googling this, no luck... anyone know where I could find a list of what NL teams the Sox have played, and how many times? Are there any NL teams we haven't played yet?
