  1. They had their chance to make this stick 20 years ago and they chose to cheap out(bears and city alike). This is what you get
  2. You mean offering to slap a roof on the smallest stadium in the league won’t get it done
  3. Lol all I did was go to your oldest posts and pick three random posts and laugh at them. Retaliation lmao, I certainly wasn’t digging in old threads and laughing at people. Thin skin indeed
  4. I agree that a closer/relief pitcher -should- be able to pitch to anyone in any situation, but it really seems like Liam has struggled in this scenario. I dunno maybe it’s recency bias and I admittedly haven’t looked at his splits, it just seems like when he comes into a tie game in the 9th he doesn’t have “it”
  5. This is very interesting in light of someone who went digging in some of my old takes to laugh at me yesterday! Very funny!
  6. You can’t use this outfield in the 9th. You just cannot have Sheets AND Vaughn out there in a close game. And you removed the best defender
  7. I am no manager but I would not have removed the best current defensive outfielder in the 7th for Eloy. I might have removed the current right fielder in the previous inning for Eloy, though
  8. Oh my have I struck a nerve? Still not seeing where I told you how to spend your money, but anywho, gamethread going on here. Moving on
  9. Man nobody is telling you how to spend your money, you can bail if you want no skin off my back
  10. No, they have been doing this with him because they don’t want to reaggravate his groin(not that way, the other way)
  11. Damn man, one game into second half and people have started giving up their ticket plans ?
  12. How about let’s have a first inning that does not exceed 17 pitches?
  13. “New York Mets” should say it all ? just ask Matt Harvey
  14. Weird for Boras to say he wants to be traded to the Mets. The Nats are under no obligation to make a deal with them, and they shouldn’t feel like they need to take the best deal that the Mets could offer and also know that they will have Soto in division for (possibly)a good chunk of the rest of the time he plays in the MLB. I would make the Mets pay up and then some if they really wanted this to happen
  15. Its funny how when you point out all of his flaws it's just stating a fact. However when you reviewed this thread of people stating all the same shit(admittedly with more frustration), your conclusion was that everyone here has some sort of political ax to grind
  16. I'm pretty sure that was implicated as part of his decline
  17. So trading for Soto, to you, necessitates a rebuild.
  18. Wait a second why is Vaughn gone now and why are they trading all those other guys too?
  19. I’m a fan of the Kirkland/Costco brat but the hot dog has a weird aftertaste to me. I’ll eat it anyways, though ?
