  1. Your opinion was that it was too late to do anything. I’m just going off what you said
  2. Tray was the one guy on this site who unironically liked Greg’s suggestion to move TA to catcher, I am now convinced
  3. Like….what exactly are you telling everyone to get this result? Wtf
  4. I have no idea the true impact a hitting coach makes at the Major league level, but I am fairly sure there was a stat on Twitter the other day that showed every Menechino coached team had a tremendous amount of ground balls. Lift and pull, how we miss you
  5. It’s a direct response to their pathetic display yesterday, not a shift in philosophy for Ozzie
  6. Lol yea, “do absolutely nothing now, in July” is the correct course of action
  7. I don’t love anything as much as TLR loves to let a gassed starter lose the game
  8. So players talking about this to other team players, gotta be Pollock imo. New guy from a WS and frequently winning team comes here and sees this going on…

    2022 Catch All

I was just reading through that, can’t wait until some of the images start trickling through
  10. Robert-Trout-Soto > Pollock and Engel why stop there? Let’s just muse every great player is on the Sox! Vacuums are great
  11. Best finale of every show I have watched this year, bar none. What a fucking last scene with Ryan smiling
  12. TLR is kind of like the deaf basketball coach in the movie Van Wilder, just mumbling saying a bunch of nonsense while Van Wilder is drawing up the game winning play on the chalkboard behind him
  13. I absolutely agree that if you traded for a top 3 player that this team would be way better
  14. I mean I wasn't ashamed they made the playoffs last season even though I knew they were walking into a buzz saw

Anecdotal memory does not cancel out 50 years of bullshit

This is extremely optimistic. I don't think they reach these numbers without a significant second half run
  17. It's easy to make the cute moves when your offense is a wrecking ball like some of the offenses he had in St Louis and Oakland, you just score over the mistake
  18. It's all the little things with Tony. Tiny mistakes that compound, moves, lack of moves, lineups, deciding to pitch to hitters, leaving pitchers in too long. And then it manifests itself with a big ole fat L at the end of the night
