  1. Montgomery at RF and TA at C, due to "talent evaluation"
  2. Why on earth would you do this. The kid has played a grand total of zero professional games in the outfield. Why do you even believe that he could play there at all, much less at the professional level, after playing 74 total games in the organization at SS?
  3. Fuck it, Richie said it's going down, so it's going down

    2022 Catch All

This is a time tested format flip trick.
  5. What you are asking and how it's received and responded to don't generally line up for us, the fans. If you start prying into the hiring practice of Tony (which is totally fucked up) and Rick starts getting defensive, who knows where it leads
  6. Gonna be honest, our boy Mike is missing a lot on that list of bad decisions
  7. Yea I do. Maybe not patiently but they aren't getting any more information out of the GM than we get. I understand you believe they are all cowards because you would be the bravest in the room, but I just don't think it works like that
  8. It's not even worth discussing, those two things do not overlap
  9. Wait so in New York and Boston and LA the general managers are asked the toughest questions like the ones you want to hear and offer unfettered access? i think it operates the same everywhere you are just pissed about it here.
  10. And I'm not trying to say that it all should be softball to save your ass, but you have to cover yourself in Shane's spot.
  11. Man, Joe Cowley was moved off of the white Sox beat and they almost completely iced him out. I don't even like the guy because of his manufactured drama but he had to get in with the guillen kids for anyone to even tell him anything and not all sports media members are the same, if shit goes sideways with Josh Nelson, then he never gets to interview Hahn again oh well. Shit goes sideways with Shane and the Sox could totally pull access from the station for however long they want.
  12. I think it's in the realm of dreamland if you believe Shane was going to do this podcast and grill him as if he has zero obligations to his employers. It's nice to think that every media guy should be a person who asks every hard question that us fans think should be asked, but the reality is that they can't operate at 100 percent no bullshit like that. which questions would you ask that you feel Shane failed at asking?
  13. Wait, TMZ cares about semantics and phrasing?
  14. It's the same guys caulfield. That's the fucking point.
  15. Forget saving the season at the point. Save your fucking dignity and fire this man and attempt to cleanup the wake of mediocre destruction behind him
  16. Come on man. There is no separation of powers here, Kenny is absolutely in the room. Acting like he would have this team in a somehow different and better position is just ignoring how many times he sold out the future for mediocre teams and was a big part of the reason the rebuild had to happen
  17. Do you think the President of Baseball Operations has zero input on that decision?
  18. There isn't much positive happening, MT. Hard to be happy when the team sucks and it isn't supposed to
  19. The sun said "oh hell no you aren't sending Tony here"
  20. Increase font size of SEC to 75 and bold please
  21. The guy does nothing but post videos of him working out in the off-season, look at the man he is super cut. I don't think a one day music video shoot ruined his conditioning. Now maybe he should start working on flexibility over building muscle but the idea that this one music video somehow made him injury prone is laughable
  22. With the added salt in the wound of playing Leury for the third straight game. Leury is 1 for his last 20, 4 for his last 29. It's wonderful
  23. Could be not related at all, or the reason for it, but has anyone noticed how many times Kopech lands his front foot and looks down at the mound like something is off? And to be honest he is far from the only one, Bryan Baker from the orioles fell off the mound last night landing his foot in basically the same spot. I dunno, I really notice it with Kopech pitching and I wonder if it is affecting his throwing motion trying to avoid it
  24. They know. Whether they actually do something about it is debatable, but those guys understand the gate. This is the same team that makes us sit in rain for two hours before calling a game to pick up some concession sales
